You're right about Shirley and her knowing her comfort range. She stayed within F3-F5 (all full voice; rarely head voice) most of her career. She knew what range to use and when. She can of course go significantly higher (and lower, although less so) but as many say quality over quantity.

Once singers get to their 50's, generally speaking, I don't expect them to hit all the same notes and have the power, projection or anything else. This dame is 85 and looking stunning and sounding just as beautiful. I'd love to see more reactions to her on your channel, if possible, like "Yesterday when I was young" and "If you go away", to name a few.

One small request (actually not that small), a concert of Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flacks has been recently uploaded on TH-cam, couldn't think of a better person to react to their rendition of You've Lost that Loving Feeling.
