finally able to share this drawing that I made for a Danganronpa Catgirl themed charity zine! it's now available as a print in my shop: ibblescribbles...
i ended up going with a slightly simpler shading style since it was a bit of an ambitious piece, there's definitely a lot i can still work on in terms of character interaction and background but i feel like this is a step forward ^^ i havent worked on a large piece like this in a bit (since this was recorded months ago) so id like to do that again soon :,)
i was kinda stumped on music choice so i just went with some summery, beachy bops or songs that kinda fit these 3! thank you for your suggestions for music on insta!! ^^

question: do you have any sketching tips?? I find sketching to be the hardest and it would be handy if you had any tips since I love your art sm!!
i don't really have many tips for sketching except to try and keep a loose hand!! i like to use a lighter color, since my brain associates lighter colors w/ being looser and darker colors w/ lining! you might try doing a rough sketch to get the basic shape or gesture of the pose down and then going over it with a cleaner sketch where u can focus on being looser since you'll have a guide underneath!
@@ibblescribbles thank you!! I generally stick to one detailed sketch but I feel like that habit is holding me back and making things harder so I'll try doing something looser to start with and see if it helps!! Tysm!
@@PuffTastic I struggle with detailed sketches too, my brain just hates making mistakes so I have a hard time trying to keep a loose hand. Detailed sketches often leave me with a stiff end result as well... Guess I just have to practice more!
@@brkli1485 it's so frustrating like i just feel like my sketch ends up looking bad if I do it loosely and like i don't really feel like my finished art is the best either but there's always a massive difference in quality when it comes to comparing my sketch art and finished art
