I work on the Video Production team at my Church, and we film and record our services for television broadcasting, evangelism, and to reach areas where people are unable to go to Church but still deserve to worship God. For example, in prisons, they broadcast the good news of Jesus Christ, single mothers or those paralyzed and are unable to use public transport to get to Church, those looking after disabled children or parents, or those working in hospital can also watch our services on TV. In the 21st Century, we should take the commandment to preach the gospel to all nations very seriously. This is done by a team of Church volunteers, and we are trained on how to do it, to the glory of God. We love doing it! It isn't recorded on mobile telephones, we have shifts are also participate in the services as we film.

I volunteer in a few musically based ministries at my church and let me tell you, it is hard work putting together a service. If it were not for these videos I wouldn't know these songs. I don't hear them anywhere else or see them on tv. Plus it helps viewers see how church has changed, progressed. Hopefully they will bring people (back) to church and worship.

a lot of charismatic churches have people waving flags during worship. being that worship can take many different forms (singing, dancing, painting even) i would put it in the same category as worship dancing
Ryan Mcgovern Thanks for your reply! We have a worship dancing team at our church, which I would categorize as fairly charismatic...but I haven't seen flag-waving used in worship before. Does it have a scriptural correlation?
JJ Surma The act of flag waving is a special thing, it can be taken to far, but the idea is this: each color represents something, blue for majesty, gold for holiness etc.. and when the flag is waved it is a worshipful declaration of who God is. It is really powerful when done in this way. Some sing, some play instruments, some declare the awesomeness of God with art, dance flags. -- you can also think of it in a battle sense. Old school war was done with flags giving directions to the people to know what to do. I have seen it where the "flag folks" will grab a color and all the sudden the songs will change to match the declaration. its really cool when all the worship is in sync..
