    Trust deficit is the result of breakdown of scientific communication process with the patients....... Let them understand that we are also looking at evolving therapies. Because of biological variability 2 + 2 is not always 4 in this branch..... Let them be a partner in making the decision. That's when they realise how difficult it is 🙏

      Very well said sir, I also believe the same, I try to explain the patient about prognosis and what we are trying to aim for during the management process, but many times I think the more we talk and explain the patient's relatives the less they want to understand, they just start to take you for granted.

    Every doctor's day reminds me of an episode in my life. I had gone to a nursing home since i wasn't keeping well. I had to take an injection for cough. Apart ftom that my TT vaccine too was due. So i had to get two injections. After the nurse gave me the deriphyllin injection in the right bum i asked the doctor if i can get the TT vaccine too in the same place. She replied smilingly in Kannada "Erdu sidenalli ondhu ondhu iralli" which means let both the sides (butts) get one injection each.The nurse started grinning at her. The doc told her grinningly sirikkenda in Malayalam (means not to laugh). I think they enjoyed my plight. After i got both the shots up my butts i left the place rubbing both my bums till i reached home😪😪😪😥😓

    Life of a doctor is very difficult, they experience every emotion. Anger, Fear, Sadness, Excitement, Disgust, Surprise, Love, Anxiety, Satisfaction!
    THIS BECAME especially true during covid 19 lockdown. DAY IN DAY OUT THEY ARE THERE FOR US! I RESPECT THEM!
    at the same time DOCTORS have to accept that Hospitals are meant to save lives and not doing business.

    Dont become a doctor and screw your life. Dont let your kid become a doctor. Save a life by avoiding becoming a doctor. Being a doctor is the worst profession ever.

    How can it be the most respected Profession when the doctor from my area is not even known in the next area ???

      Respect is not equal to being famous

    • @dinosutra
      @dinosutra 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@chandrashekhar570 Please read carefully... I didn't just wrote respected... I wrote "most respected" as shown in the ad... If someone is the most respected person in the society then synonymously he/she will be the most famous... But it's not... So definitely it is not the most respected Profession as everyone claims it to be...
