Sister, your teachings always speak to directly to me, and I am taken aback by your remarkable ability to understand and put into words exactly what I feel and what I need. I am very grateful for your practice, and for your Dharma talks. This one particularly touched me at a difficult time when I needed it most. I hope to meet you one day. You are an angel to me. Simple but deep. Soft but powerful. Thank you Sister Đẳng Nghiêm for sharing. A few words emerged after watching your dharma talk. There’s no lotus without mud So much sorrow, so much joy Dukkha, Samudaya, Dirodha, and Marga Mindfulness practice brings flowers to life Không bùn thì chẳng có sen Bao nhiêu đau khổ bấy nhiêu an bình Khổ, Tập, Diệt, Đạo thấu tâm Chánh niệm tinh tấn cho đời nở hoa
Dear sister D, thank you so much for your valuable and compassionate teaching. This is an issue I have been working on for decades as an adult. The struggle to heal led me to Thay's teachings, where I have finally found understanding and peace. How fortunate that you became a nun and can articulate the problem and the practice so well and so lovingly, so I can find even deeper healing. Just to mention one way, when you substituted the word trauma for suffering, it was a real gift. Combining some of the western analytical teachings with my new spiritual path, things began to join up with tenderness and a release... Thank you, thank you.
Thank you Sister D, thank you again❤. I have listened all your talks availabe for very many times. I have learned a lot and I have learned a lot of myself.
In the 3rd kind of people is the 4th, and in the 2nd kind of people is the 1st. If you don't take care of yourself but only others one day you will be exhausted. You will be used and abused until you eventually feel so broken and betrayed that you will become the 1st kind. In the 1st kind of people are a lot of fallen angels who burned their wings.
Buddhist monks and nuns shave their hair because it is detachment from the ego and also one less thing to worry about as far as vanity goes. So they can focus on more important things that matter. If you think about your own life, you probably worry about what your hair looks like or what your clothes look like and that is also why they wear the same robe everyday. It's to minimize distraction and not get caught up in the ego. They also do not wear any makeup or jewelry. I am not a nun but I am a woman and also shave my head for similar reasons 🙏☺️
Su Co Dang Nghiem, this was incredibly beautiful from start to finish. Thank you so much for sharing everything. Powerful messages, insights and wisdom. I can’t thank you enough for letting my mum stumble across this and then sharing it with me. 🫰🏻🫰🏻🫰🏻❤❤❤ I am learning even more to be a better version of myself 🙏🏻
Sister D, no one on earth loves the inner child this deeply (in public). It's life-changing. It is the seed of world peace.

👋 I am being a little inquisitive here. Please tell me why you shave your hair. Thank you!
