During the hot weeks - I make a huge amount of pasta salad, ham salad, and chicken salad. I make 2 variations of each - the chicken salad - a honey curry one with apples, grapes, and dried cranberries... and a plain one with just mayo and a tiny bit of diced celery. That way - everyone had something they can grab for lunch on a hot day - no microwaving - just grab a small roll from the bag and put the ham or chicken salad of your choice. We have one that likes to heat up their pasta salad in the microwave - lol.
While I will be really sad if you take a week off of TH-cam, you totally deserve a vacation! You have my full support! Your fans will be here when you get back! Thanks for all of your content. I’m seriously thinking of trying the 1st Phorm app. Wouldn’t mind seeing your Bay House workout content!

My oldest just turned 10 in May and it completely blew me away. Only 8 years and she's 18!😮 Then my 7 year old asked how old all of my 4 girls will be in 15 years. Once again, my soul kind of left my body! Lol IXL is an amazing program, my 2 oldest girls are homeschooled and do IXL and Acellus. Both are amazing!

I totally understand the magic of a family vacation home. My family has a lake house in northern Wisconsin that my great grandmother originally bought that I've been going to since I was a baby. My parents own it now, my large extended family goes up every year, and I love being able to bring my kids up now. They and their cousins are the fifth generation to go and that makes me so incredibly happy.

My son used IXL in school when he was in elementary school. It helped him so much. I didn’t even know they had programs you could use at home. He’s a junior now so we don’t need it anymore but it helped so much in elementary school
What a fun birthday!!! I will never forget - when I turned 9 - a friend of my mother's said to me "This is the last time in your life you will be a single digit old". Amazingly - I got what she was saying - lol - and I still think of her saying that to this day! Thanks for the happy vibes you put into the world!!
IXL for me! Iam a Texas middle school English teacher. Our school district has used IXL for 4 years. I highly recommend this program. Tip: Use the Skill Plan tab to direct the skills your child needs. I required an 80 score before they move to next skill on their plan. Kids love the rewards too. You can print off their certificates and put on the wall in their room. Good luck!
As a teacher, you are doing a HUGE benefit for your children having them do IXL during the summer. They will be heads above the other students when they go back to school! I love using IXL in my classroom.

I make a big batch of PF Chang copycat chicken lettuce cups constantly in the summer. Stuffed peppers can be made on a sheet pan in bulk and frozen, breakfast tacos, BLT pasta salad, smoked salmon salad wraps, air fryer zucchini “ pizza bites “ which is just zucchini cut into disc and topped with pizza toppings, energy balls/ bites are fast and easy to make for quick snacks on the go. Sheet pan quesadillas, buffalo chicken salad made with chicken tenders, lettuce, carrots and ranch dressing is a staple here and works well as a wrap.
Believe me, you are not the only one that worries about their child forgetting what they learned in school. I also have a schedule where my son has to read for 30 min every day and then either study the US map, or do IXL math also for 30 minutes a day. So, it's just an hour of his day, but I also feel it's very well needed during the summer 😊

The exact same thing happened to my 18 month old about a week before Father's Day. He had a fever of 103.4 the first night but was fine the next day he woke up. He ate fine and acted normal. That night, his fever went up high again and he kept a fever the next day and night. It was weird how he had a high fever one night, none the next day and then got it again for a couple days. I almost took him to the doctor but he got over it. He's never had a fever that high when sick before so it was very different and worrisome. I noticed he has what looks like mosquito bites on his legs. They've been the same size for a few days and now they're bigger.
Do your kids do chores? If so, do you have a chore chart for their ages that you can share? Really trying to get my kids started on doing some chores because I didn't really do them growing up, and I feel like that's hurt me as an adult.
Take a week off and enjoy your family! You deserve it! We will miss you but we will be ok lol… Seriously though i feel you never get to just relax and not work so im all for your week off

Do your kids do chores? If so, do you have a chore chart for their ages that you can share? Really trying to get my kids started on doing some chores because I didn't really do them growing up, and I feel like that's hurt me as an adult.
