To be a human is so incredibly fascinating. So much to learn, so much to see, feel and experience. I’ve worked in Law Enforcement and have learned a lot about human nature. The good, the bad, the beautiful and ugly. I have learned to live a very simple life. One of being spiritual , mindful and grateful for every day. One lesson I have learned is that we as humans create our own chaos, drama and negativity. We all have that inner child that is etched in us for our adult life! It’s really simple: Humans need to be loved, understood and praised!. Children and adults! We get inspired and reminded of this by people like you. Thank you for being passionate about mankind!

Thanks for telling your story and WOW, what you had to convey about going to Iraq is most certainly sad with the women and their husbands being lined up, shot and killed, baby girls being sex trafficked and baby boys being left alone and traumatized. You are totally awesome having so much empathy. That's me, having alotta empathy. Just gotta work on loving myself. You are making a difference in many peoples lives. I have a friend in Iran who is teaching me Persian and you talking about Iraq reminds me of him. Anti self?! Does not compute in my brain other than care for myself to not be a 'hermit'. Hello there. I just saw you on the Doctor Phil show. I felt very proud of the man who got his hair cut on stage. Unfortunately, I can relate to him. After many disturbing events having happened in my life, I feel as though I have zero motivation + I thought ‘what’s the point’, too. I am going to binge watch all of your videos. I’m sick + tired of being sick + tired! It doesn’t matter why I’m in this state, it matters how I’m gonna get myself together! Thank God I was watching Doctor Phil today. ❤️

I experienced many past traumas growing up and also have chronic depression and anxiety and future fears and I was told that I am living in fight and flight mode and its wearing me down. I took care of others for years to the point of burnout and now find self care very hard and draining as my anxious thoughts and future fears are still there.

I just love your message of “Being your best self” interestingly this was the second book with this same title. Thomas Monson wrote another life changing book in 1979. Did his book inspire your book?
Thank you for sharing !! You provide so much inspiration to millions of people. I often feel trapped. I have so much that I want to accomplish, but fear of failing keeps me stuck. I don't know what to do. I can tell you that your videos on fear and changing your life have helped me tremendously. It's the big life decisions that I know I need to make, but am scared to. I used to be fearless but not anymore.

How do you help someone who has been addicted to alcohol, major manic depression, moody, can't get past life obstacles; for the past 20 years of our marriage I have been the main supporter. In the beginning, his depression was very mild, and drinking was non existent. Now fast forward over 20 years, he have been to over 15 rehabs, on medication for his manic depression which only keeps him stable, but does not work. We also have tried Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) , did not work. In and out of the hospital, through endless summers of sleeping all day and night. Nothing has work. He does not work, and has SSD. but the lack of money is way far less then what he could make, but can't hold a job because of his depression, anxiety, over stress and alcohol. I have no solution and neither does the physicians. I know he would like get better, but he starts, but never ends it. Its just a never ending circle. Don't know what else to do.

The problem with believing in self is it doesn’t work because we are naturally sinful creatures and you can’t rely on another human to help you, the only way is Jesus Christ and to connect with your creator.
