      They should make the designers of these air fryers clean them in 15 minutes or less, then they’ll understand the need to have the heating elements be removable like an electric stove does.. then cleanup will be a breeze.. thanks for the tips👏🏾👏🏾

      @@GeorgeVgp That's why it's important to run the air fryer for a while at 400 to drive off the moisture that causes rust (as well as the leftover chemical residues).

    Thank you for being so thorough. Your tips for using a bottle brush to clean under the coils nd adding boiling water to the basket so the steam could soften the grease prior to cleaning were most helpful. I have a Corsori and there's very little room underneath the coil to clean the fan blades. I clean the air fryer after every use but was mainly concerned with the coils over and under. Thank you!

    Everything I've cooked in this unit has come out great th-cam.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB ! Everything tastes so good. Some of the recipes I've changed a little to improve the taste. For instance, for french fries which call for no oil, I spray them with olive oil and season them with salt and pepper. They come out great! It makes the best toast I have ever eaten. The recipe I use calls for lightly buttering both sides of the bread. It calls for cooking at 400 degrees for 5 minutes on one side and then 2 minutes on the other side. This time has a lot to do with the kind of bread you are using...so keep an eye on it. Also, the fans in this Ninja are a lot stronger than other air fryers. So lay a metal spoon or something on the bread to keep it from flying around. It's a little extra work to use your Ninja as a toaster but it is worth it!

Maybe ajax may work .did u put like plastic around hole inside airfryer so none dish soap get inside of it after done srubbing and wiping it out .u can peel plastic off .i do that when i srub inside best i can get it clean .

    I clean the basket and crisper tray as you illustrate HOWEVER: I did not follow the manual instructions and use a spray bottle for oil but instead used cooking spray (which many recipes direct) and now there's a sticky 'coating' on it--do you have any suggestions as to what cleaning agent I could use for that?

    • @MeemReviews
      @MeemReviews  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      1) I mostly clean with a bristled brush, some of the harder stuck-on grease needs a little soap and warm water soak before i use the bristle brush to scrub away.
      2) Dishwasher.
      3) If you don't have a dishwasher and have stubborn grease.... try to buy a small pack of dishwasher tablets. Fill the basket with hot water, drop in the tablet and let it soak for a few hours, then use a non-abrasive sponge to wash it all out.
      Hopefully, some of these will help.

      If you had water on internal components when you turned it on, you may well have burned out some of those components and ruined your air fryer. Wait a minimum of 15 days before you try again. This is why I don't turn my AF upside down. Lay it on its side so that you can access the front and drips will fall on the plastic sides instead. You can also do it while upright but you have to bend yourself into a pretzel. 🤣

      I wouldn't put off buying it for this reason, it's a great appliance. This is more of a deep clean that you can do depending on how often you use or types of food. For example naturally fatty foods will splatter and create more grease to clean. But there are lots of other foods you can cook using other functions, bake, dehydrate, roasting veggies, endless options! Try it, you will love it, I'm sure!
