Crap list. You included many songs that the ‘violin’ is sampled from another recording or a synth. For example the INXS song ‘Never Tear Us Apart’ is a synth. You included two songs from the Beatles, but none from U.K. or Roxy Music, both had the same keyboardist/violinist. If you wanted to include songs with real violins, half the soundtrack from Saturday Night Fever would have been good choices, Dexy’s Midnight Runners had real violin on almost every song they did, Dave Matthews Band had violin on many songs.
Led Zeppelin's All My Love has no violin on it. That's all synthesizer.
