As an lck watcher for 2 years, the reason Chronicler was so emoted because it is even more crazy in context. Ruler was in the LCK last year, and he was probably the best zeri player in the world. If he got ahead, there was literally no way to stop him from pentakilling the enemy team. So the fact that a varus managed to kill the best zeri player in the world while being fed in a 1v2 is crazy.

Guma has had an insane tournament and Varus has looked broken in his hands - Keria is also in form looking like the best support in the world by far again - those bard performances were crazy
what is so nuts about them is that they do this on champs most bots don't dare even touch - Faker had a game 3 shuffle for the ages, zeus played super well, oner played well - everyone had pop-off moments, just an absolute joy to watch all around, everyone has moments (Guma-Keria are just fun to watch from draft on due to their versatility, Oner has some crazy engages, Faker has insane carry moments and Zeus has a destructive laning phase and team fight execution)
JDG is one of the best teams ever - give respect - and T1 was just strictly better...that is crazy
Guma ulted Knight, so he didnt have ult for them. Both ADCs had 3 items, with Ruler having 2 extra long swords. Zeri had Lifeline on Shieldbow, we didn't even see the shield show up cause Varus's Q + passive proc went through the whole shield. Guma dodged 2 out of 4 Ruler's Qs and Aatrox Q3. Most of the damage he took was from Aatrox's auto actually and Zeri's last Q. Guma straight up just mechanically outplayed both of them at the same time by just kitting and dodging. This IS the best ADC in the world. With the best support in the world.
I dont think Ruler flashing onto Guma was a bad play at all, he was trying to dodge Bard ult and engage onto Guma. The odds are extremely in his favor, T1 was still near Dragon pit dealing with Knight, Keria just died. It's just the Lulu can't support him anymore since he just went so deep. Lulu R was wasted on Knight instead. If Missing Rd Aatrox, Guma was dead (polymorph could've worked too but he used it on J4). But... to be fair... Guma was not supposed to win that fight, so in hindsight it wasn't Missing's fault.

When I saw Aatrox on JDG side, I immediately thought of Zeus’s Yone, and oh god I was right. The pressure, the trust, the patience, it was all spectacular. Everyone did so well, especially Keria and Oner with the global pressure and vision. Guma with the cool head when he 1v2, and how Faker leads the team and make the call. Oh I just love these guys so much.

sure, but how do you explain their abysmal perf when faker was out of action owing to his injury?
@@jcon2060 Let me say this. Sure Keria and Oner underperformed while Faker was gone (I think Zeus and Guma played decent). Mid role affects the whole team a lot and that is why mid players usually get the highest salaries. Mid especially affects junglers. Not throwing shade to Poby since he is just a young challenger player who was thrown into the wolves out of nowhere, he was playing passively and focusing on not trying to feed during lane phase. That alone throws off the whole dynamic of the team especially the jungler. You can't do much as a jungler when your mid laner is passive. T1's style is being dominant in lane phase and that one change in mid laner makes it very hard to keep that style of gameplay.

@@jcon2060 i dont know what you want or expect anyone to say. They struggled to find their confidence and grip on the game. Didn't help that every time they went up against GenG they couldn't find a single way to get ahead and beat them. They had massive mental boom this entire year but this T1 roster has always been a scaling team in every tournament. They do pretty mediocre early on and then in Quarters and Semis they pop off. Their performance all year long doesn't matter anyways and you should see that is evidently the case based on the past few Worlds. Virtually every team that was expected to do well/win Worlds in the past 3 years has underperformed hard meanwhile T1 consistently performs well and shows up.

Ruler is only good at "protect the general" playstyles (how he won Worlds during ardent censor meta), Keria's creative picks and flexibility can only be unleashed because of Guma's wide champion pool (i.e. Ruler can't play champs like Cait/Senna etc.)
I personally value flexibility over being special at one style because you can be more consistent across different metas.

Gumayusi proved he is the best, JDG funnel so much gold to Ruler yet he still gets out damage by Guma. Mind you this series T1 is behind in gold early/mid game.
T1 engagement and team fight is top tier. Even behind in gold still came back strong.
Gumayusi was the T1 Hero for Game 4. How he pulled off that critical 1v2 against Ruler and 369 sealed the game.
This T1 team is so scary. They are all just so good. Zeus is such a dominant top lane. And the Guma/keria combo is deadly. Keria is the first support that really makes me open my eyes. Like damn he is a very clutch support. And their team fighting is disgusting. How many fights did they have where they all survived? How do you beat that? I think T1 takes it all!!
T1 has brains, sometimes it doesn't work out but they always think of something. These guys are just brilliant together each of them shine during the game. They so deserve a world title.

T1 will win 3-1 or 3-0 if they are really feeling themselves. Weibo isn't a bad team but they aren't JDG level, not even close. Look at WBG's run to get to finals. They beat an NA team in Quarters and BLG in Semis. Weibo has yet to be tested by a top tier team. T1 beat LNG in Quarters and JDG in Semis who were expected to win Worlds by the majority of people, even T1 fans. Weibo hasn't had to play a single challenging opponent. Xiaohu is a notorious international choker, Weibo's bot lane is mediocre at best and TheShy off broken picks like Rumble and Ksante doesn't look impressive.

Guma 1vs2 is incredible. And if Missing use his R for Ruler, the story may be different. Instead he used his R for Ori who flashed out the combat.
Yeah they would have killed Varus most likely but then Ori would be traded, the HP and shield from lulu saved Ori's life. If she ults and shields Zeri it's likely a 2 for 2 mid jg for bot support trade but T1 still gets Soul.

T1 team fighting is top tier and I think gapping any lane and trying to lean on it ,is a mistake against them. They’ll find ways to split teams and creat favorable initiations, faker and guma so good at following up on oner and Keria

Wow amazing game, Keria was such an absolute nuisance to JDG on bard, the vision control and constant harass and ults on isolated targets. Also need to give props to the commentators, those lines and energy at the end was god tier casting.
