I just looked into it and it says it takes place in Oregon so you were right, northwest. I loved this movie, I was NOT expecting it to go supernatural lol.
i really enjoyed this one, i found it sufficiently creepy and eerie enough to keep going back to it. i watched it in theatres with my friend group and two of them fell asleep in theatre and the other two had nightmares about it for a few days lol thanks for reacting! :)
2:21 is the first time out of all the reactions that I've watched that I see him duck behind the house like a game of peekaboo.....THANK YOU for the "spot the devil" sequence because when I tell you I saw none of them while every reactor said "did you see that?!" I did now. 17:10 absolutely to eyes being visible and ominous.
He was supposed to have had botched plastic surgery on his face. That's why the skin on his hands doesn't match his face,, and he wears heavy white makeup to try to hide the botched surgery.
It's hard for me to get a grasp on how I feel about this movie. The opening is the best I've ever seen in a horror movie and it has some great scenes, but the overall package just had too much wrong with it. I thought Cage was amazing, but he had times where he slipped into the same "crazy Cage" persona that we've seen a hundred times before and it took me out of the character. I also that Maika's character felt less like a traumatized person and more like an android, which is more the director's fault (she's a great actress). And Satan as the big bad? I think it's a bit overplayed at this point. It's like when the big reveal is vampires. You just roll your eyes and go, "Here we go again, I guess..."

You have to react to CUCKOO next. That’s even weirder than LONGLEGS.
Believe it or not, it's actually on the list for October!
