      In the past I too would find the question triggering. I just don't remember the last I felt that way. But now I find it oddly comforting. It's because I recently got very sick and terribly bedridden. I thought I was going to die. But my family never failed to take care of me, especially my mom who is an extremely busy person. But my favorite part was that I got to hold the hands of my mom, my dad, and all three of my siblings, two of which are boys who I've never seen so worried. I'm 23 btw, but the illness somewhat reduced me into a child who wanted her hand held, and my family readily did it for me. It was the closest I felt like a child in years. And it genuinely made me happy.

      Okay, it's blog post time. The last time I felt real, childlike joy was when I found fossils.
      So I'm way into dinosaurs, enough to want to go into Paleontology as a career. But, for years, I've been procrastinating and blowing it off. A couple summers ago, a guy gave me permission to dig on his property for free, on the condition that he decides what fossils I keep and what ones he takes for his rock shop. So, I dug, and found a lot of fossils, and it was a blast. The downside is, I have no idea what to do with all these fish, lol. I could have stayed in that desert for days and never gotten bored, though.
      It was actually the first little push I gave myself to actually start going to college. I've been accepted at the local community college for this Summer. Cross your fingers for me, internet people.

    You always want to ask someone if they're nice.
    If they respond "oh yeah, I'm super nice I do all these kind things all the time!" It means their kindness isn't done from out of their heart, but out of their desire to be recognized as a "good person" and accepted as a "good person."
    While on the other hand if they respond,
    "Yeah I try to be nice." Or "I like to think I am, but also I can be mean..." Or "hopefully I am, idunno." Those are just some genuine real people, chill, and kind when it matters the most.
    And finally if they respond
    "Nah bro I'm a douche bag lol."
    Could be a good drinking friend, but definitely if that person is capable of giving proper constructive criticism, listen to them. They will be brutally and extremely honest. Ignore the hurtful things they say, and listen to the deeper meaning or suggestion, you'll learn some real shit about yourself.

It’s originally Jotaro’s stand cry and then all the JoJo stand cries except for Giorno Giovana’s Gold Experience (spoiler) and Gold Experience Requiem and (Spoiler) Tusk Act 1-3, except 4, 4 had the stand cry, “ORA!” In this case, the correct answer would be, “MUDA!” Because it’s DIO’s The World (ZA WARUDO!) stand cry, vampire trying to kill Jotaro. Once again, the answer could have been a text with only spaces, or SHI BO BO BO BO (for Killer Queen), a space with only texts (Spoiler, All of Pucci’s stands), MUDA/Muda da Muda! (For Diego’s Scary Monsters, or MUDA MUDA MUDA! (Spoiler AU Diego’s The World), or something else (stands in part 8) in short, it’s a JoJo reference, and there isn’t a real answer, however, MUDA would have been the safest.

    Arbitrarily asking "How's life?"during one on one, because it's different from other greetings the usual first response is "wdym?". The next part is to just reiterate the question, and emphasise that there is no right answer. People tend to just be weirded out by getting a deep question and reply like any other greeting. You won't get much out of them, however the ones that take the question a little more seriously are the ones most open towards you. You get a better insight of them, and if you keep the habit of using this alternative greeting you can regularly strengthen relationships whilst maintaining the ones who don't reciprocate by making the at first awkward moment into a regular occurrence that became a quirk. Eventually everyone has a moment of weakness and will take this question seriously. This question is like sprinkling water on seeds, some sprout immediately like magic and others either bloom late or never will. This greeting is perfect in that it gauges a person's interest in you whilst simultaneously opening an opportunity for discussion.

Just for shits and giggles, I sat down and tried to figure how much the things I wanted to do should we win would cost. Even after paying off my loans and debts, buying a brand new mid-range car, a nice little house, a vacation to New Zealand, a shopping spree, Hamilton tickets, paying off my parents' mortgage, buying my sister a MacBook and a car, adopting a dog and a cat, and donating $2000-$5000 to various charities and organizations I support or have been a part of, I hadn't even scratched half a million. Re the "how did your last relationship end?" question.
    Even though it's illegal in the UK to ask about marital/relationship status, or whether you have/want kids, in an interview, many women are still asked these questions. I've been on the receiving end of such questions, and a few years ago, one potential employer asked, when they spotted my wedding ring "what does your husband think of you applying for a nightshift position?" I replied "you'd need to ask his ashes - he died in 2012." The look of sheer mortification on the interviewer's face was priceless. I then informed them that under UK legislation, it was illegal to ask relationship questions because it is classed as discrimination. Told them I didn't think the job was for me if this was how management worked, and ended the interview. Two days later, I received an email offering me the position. I turned it down with a reply similar to my interview, suggesting HR look at their interview process.

We instead have to use what we have around us to create our own meaning, objectives and goals are pointless if we feel like a greater authority imposes them onto us. Only when through blood and sweat we pursue them it is that we actually know that getting there will make us happy.

    I've actually been asked the manhole cover question when I did work experience in school, at the end of the week the company I was at got me to do their questionnaire for prospective employees and that was one of the questions. Being 16 I had no clue what the correct answer was so I just figured it was better to not be wrong than to not answer, so I wrote 'because the hole is round'. They said no one had ever answered with that before and they offered me a job once I finished school if I wanted it.

    I have to admit, I’ve asked this question of anybody who has ever worked for me (lottery question) and I can instantly tell they won’t be with me long as their heart ain’t in what they’re doing if they list that they would spend their days doing other work (instead of a hobby).
    My answer is ‘nobody would ever see me again. I’d be in Paris tomorrow, on a new motorcycle heading through The Alps and then probably through Asia. Then I’d fly to South America, buy a different bike a ride through the coastlines around the entire damn continent.
    I should probably be writing adventure guides... Not sure how I land that gig, though (and my cat would probably hate it).

      Why can't they teach both? Well I say teach. I mean- There was a professor who allowed discourse between students on this and the college was fine with it until Freedom From Religion got involved. There needs to be discourse. Otherwise dogma happens, and only one side is shown. If there's nothing to the 6000 year position, shouldn't the students find that out for themselves? I don't agree with either position being solely shown.

    • @ocdplaylistmaker7032

      Second, no true Young Earth Creationist believes that dinosaurs never existed, and/or that the fossils are fake. These people say this in order to feel like their faith is defensible by explaining away evidence, but there's no need

    • @ocdplaylistmaker7032
      @ocdplaylistmaker7032 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've also never heard anyone claim history as a whole never existed. This also goes against Young Earth Creationist positions, and literally the Bible itself since it gives details on past events. Basically the guy either doesn't like to think, or the Redditor is confused/mispresenting/misremembering/mixing up different events.

    • @ocdplaylistmaker7032
      @ocdplaylistmaker7032 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Usshers chronology is generally adhered to but there is not a strict adherence to 4004 BC- there is a margin of error depending on a few factors. But it hangs around 6000 years. That's the only similarity this guy has with YEC's.

    • @ocdplaylistmaker7032
      @ocdplaylistmaker7032 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      But I agree- this guy should not be teaching kids because he denies history. Which is ironic because if he read about Ussher, he would understand he used historical sources, some of which have since been lost to time. So I'm not sure how he could convince anyone the earth is 6000 years old while denying history at the same time.

    The shopping cart theory is bogus tho. Like it’s inconsequential to us because we are abled body people. I asked that question once in an interview to a possible employee, and she explained that due to reasons she sometimes didn’t, because she had a disability. And also noted it also depends because what if something of major importance that takes precedence comes up with time being really crucial, she’s probably leave it where she can that isn’t a large inconvenience. I explained the crucial time management could reflect on you cutting corners on something you saw as less crucial, like an excel sheet used as a general ledger and she explained that there’s varying degrees of importance to her, something work related that could affect the lives of so many wasn’t something you could compare that scenario with. I gave her a green light but the next interviewer said no because she didn’t have enough technical background in a corporate environment.

    I'm 44 and I last felt that child-like joy a few days ago, out with my 14 year old son and our dog. We found an overgrown path just off a road in our local cemetery, went exploring in the woods, and there was sets of 5 or 6 steps, leading nowhere, and parts of crumbling walls, and the odd defunct lampost in the woods, it felt like a place no one really knows about, yet is just 5 minutes from our house, we plan on taking our metal detector there in the next few days, and just go an expedition lol.
    I did find out it used to be a girls school, and because wildlife has taken over, it's just being left as a wildlife conservation area, we found a fox skeleton while we were there, and I know that deer have been spotted around the cemetery area.

    You guys haven't heard about that Three Animals Test?
    If you haven't try it out with me now (it takes less than 30 seconds):
    1) Name the first three animals you think of!
    OK?
    2) Name two or three adjectives/characteristics that you associate with each animal!
    OK?
    3) Supposedly this tells you this about yourself:
    The first animal and its characteristics are how you want to be.
    The second, how other people see you.
    The third, how you really are.
    It can be hilarious to do in a group of friends, but you can only do it once!
