Hey great lesson. Watched about 3 minutes and can now play along nicely. Most tubers take forever to get to a lesson start or forever to make sense and spend too much time trying to sound smart. Thanks for not wasting time iow.
Hands Down - No Contest - Absolute Best Songs (clearly demonstrated, “play by play” breakdown) guitar players have always wanted to learn but couldn’t find a clean, clear and simple version, until now!
Thanks for this video man I've been singing this song since my father passed about three years ago playing and singing this song helps with the loss thanks you sir
That’s great to hear! Sorry to hear about your loss - but glad to hear music can help. If you have any other requests for lessons please let me know. All the best!
I have to say these lessons are great. So glad I stumbled across them and was shocked to find out you guys aren't even more popular than you already are. The tutorials are easy to follow and useful tools. You play and sing very well. You have a great speaking voice just when giving out the lesson. Keep doing what you're doing! Sure you guys will blow up
Gotta be honest to anyone watching this video who is new guitar, please don't fret an Amaj chord like this guy. That's a quick fire way to damage the nerves in your hands. No question.
thanks 4 all u do your very very good at teaching at least me i can follow along so good with u.. i wish i could afford to pay u 4 what u do thanks again
@Songnotes: ~ I have to compliment you on this being a good, well-thought-out, well-presented "lesson" video (... especially after I had searched-through several other lame videos for this song before finding yours). The only thing that I might add, is that concerning the chorded-lick demonstrated at 4:29 time-counter-mark - , that is actually in-effect a Dmaj9th chord (though your calling it a "Dsus2" is correct enough). However, that chord actually needs a F# note played somewhere (for-instance played on the bass "E" string) for it to be the correct full 4-note chord (though, admittedly, the keyboards on the studio-version of this song would have been supplying that note in the original arrangement). Finally, let me mention that the reason I was prompted to search for a posting of a "lesson" for this song, is that the night that I am doing this is Oct. 20, 2017 - which was the 40-year anniversary of the "Lynyrd Skynyrd plane crash".
Thanks so much for the insight! I truly appreciate it. I do admit some of my theory knowledge is spotty, and I appreciate the clarity you provided. Just the same I hope this was helpful. All the best 👍

Thanks, I did get something out of that. The acoustic is a lot busier than you hear on the recording it must be dialed way back. , I play it as close to 4 triplets as I can, but it always feels like I’m hauling ass if I’m alone......

Bro! You’ve made it easier than any where else. Do you take on new songs to help others learn them upon request?
Terrific lesson; well organized and the pdf is very helpful. Thanks!
Tks
I dove big rigs in Amish country, saw a funeral one day. Lots of black hanging out at a barn. Buy the end of the day i hd version of that.

WoW Thank you
This is a great lesson. I was wondering if you could please cover forget about Georgia by Lukas Nelson.
Can’t understand why anyone tries to play songs like this without learning barre chords first. Enjoyed the lesson tho
Mick Harvey - Out of Time Man
Badfingers - Baby Blue
America - A Horse With No Name
Mercy - Shawn Mendes
I wrote that was looking for a voice to stick it two. Hope u don't think its dumb

Can someone help me with the dsus2 riff??
Guessing the end riff at 7:13 ? I could use a breakdown myself. 😢

Hi I LOVE YOUR LESSONS. but why don't you show us how to play the G the same way you do. It seems more economical
Happy Gilmore anyone?
looks like noah kahan took the same guitar lesson
The Verses are the same chord progression as that annoying Wagon Wheel song.
You should invest in a singer!!! 😆
But your guitar lessons are great.
😢
Im going thow a song at u. Sorry
6bux for guitar tab. Blow me lol
Great lesson, trying this tomorrow morning, it's 2am!
