Then the next day they show him visiting her workplace with some food that he prepared and she's basically quite surprised and asked him repeatedly why he came to see her. And he replied it's because he saw that she didn't eat, that's why he brought some food over for her.
I am rooting for this couple but she really rubbed me the wrong way when she bombard him with questions when he came to surprise her with food. It’s not just the multiple of questions but her tone and reaction. Most people would be surprised and elated and smile. Her reaction was to question how, where, and why he was there and demanding him to answer. I understand the audience only see a tidbit of their interaction and couples do argue, but if they continue in this direction, I don’t think there would be a happy ending.
She obviously looks happy. It's probably because of the language barrier that you don't understand. I speak both Mandarin and English and when excited, I start rambling off like her. I do this when speaking both English and Chinese. You guys are just nitpicking everything about her. As a woman doing this to a fellow woman who had the courage to love someone much younger than her, I think you are the one with a problem.
