I love watching miniature videos, but I have never been moved by it before. This was so beautiful, It feels nostalgic and so sentimental. This diorama really shows the beauty in the ordinary, how a mast can become extraordinary. Makes me think of all the small 'ordinary' details from my own life that has a sentimental glow around them.
Watching this makes me feel so much at peace. Like, the whole vibe is so tranquil. I used to make similar models back in architecture school, and I can tell you, this is weeks and weeks of work (the details!), all of which have been so beautifully condensed in a 25 minute video 🤯❤️
10 minutes in I was thinking “oh cool I can do this, seems easy enough, il go get the stuff tomorrow from the local craft store” Then you kept adding more & more & more. Then it got a little outta reach with time constrains & money. Well done it’s a phenomenal outcome for such a “simple” design brief. 👏🏼
Fun Fact: I work in a factory in Nebraska that makes cross-arms for powerlines. I run a machine called the 13 spindle that bores the holes in these 8” and 10” arms.
That's unbelievable attention to detail. I made a suncatcher for a female friend and I noted that some tiny Swarovski Beads would make excellent insulators for scale model utility poles. They come in colours not unlike the real deal and having miniature tube centres I'd imagine they could be mounted.. I'm blown away by your craftsmanship. I recon 20'000 of your veiwers love scale modelling and the other 5000 have Asperger's like me and have lifetime fascination with utility poles no matter how big not small haha 👍
I kinda feel bad for anyone who doesn't intimately know this scene.. another wonderful build.. your attention to detail is top notch. Thank you for giving me a feeling of nostalgia. Best of luck with your channel.
i remember as a toddler lying on my back in the back seat of the old packard watching the wires go up and down between the poles as we drove across america. : ) are you planning on making more of these fabulous glimpses of the past?
I have a o gauge railroad layout and am always looking for ideas. You have some great ones but how about some more! We need more great ideas! Thank You for your content.
in all your incredible videos I see that you create very realistic sand . is grout that what you are using?., if yes, what type?. I'm new in this hobby and let me tell you that every video that you post is a work of art and an inspiration. Thanks!
Your modeling skills are Impressive as well as your painting . I have to mention that your Cross arm "Insulators" look Awesome but they are no where near 1/48 scale . Insulators on cross arms are about 4.5 INCHES in real life . So in 1/48 scale they would be only 2.4 mm in height . in addition ALL telegraph pole cross arms were BOLTED to the pole .They would show as drilled and installed . All My family are AT&T employees ! and I 've seen telegraph poles up Close All my life : ) hah Beautiful Modeling none the less ! Many Thanks for Sharing Cheers ~

Your meticulous attention to detail comes across in both your model making and filmmaking. 👏🏼 Something for me to strive for.

Hi. Love watching your builds. Im also fron New Zealand. Where do you get your foam that you used for the base from?
I used to get it from Bunnings in an approximately 1mx0.5m sheet 🙂
Is it just me or should there be a bus stop with a bench?
How do you do that electrified grass trick?
oh my
Could you please tell me what type of paint and wood did you use?
great work!!! is that balsa wood? what do you use for the flowers?
If you Google “Woodland Scenics Flowers” you should be able to find their small packets in many colours 😊
