It's called a scoreboard spring jump. A spring jump is when you do an initial jump and crouch midair so you land crouched, then if you press jump and release crouch with the right timing you will get a slightly higher jump called a spring jump. However the timing is extremely tight so there is a method where you bring up the scoreboard and do the imputs while it's up so it makes the spring jump 100% consistent.
Most of the originals are retired from the pro Halo scene and have moved on to other titles, at least if we're referring to the HCE and H2 generations. Some of the OG H3 and HR pros still remain on MCC, but a lot have moved on. Not to mention, while they were pros at the past classic Halo titles, it would be a long while before they got up to Frosty's level when it comes to Halo 5 as it's a completely different professional scene with all the new mechanics involved.
