Love love love the seahorse. I would treasure that little fellow.
When you redo the dragon, put in a bit of resin, then add a bit of salt. Keep putting layers and packing the salt into the resin and build it up slowly. Hope this method will help you have a better result.

He looks fine, Sheliah. With all of those crystals that he's got in his mold, I'd be tempted to try some of the clear resin with a very little fine shimmer powder, or just leave him clear. Those crystals in him are lovely, and should sparkle away all by themselves.

I would have poured in a tiny bit of the clear resin before the salt to make it easier to spread out and give a real translucent crystal finish

Try doing in two pours with a solid color first in the peaks then do salts in second pour
