I think...) originally sung and placed on the charts by James Ingram and Patti Austin. So technically, it's more like their classic. What Tony did do, was cover it three different times; once alone, once with George Michael, and his most recent cover was with Aretha Franklin. (He seems very enamored with this song so he may cover it again). (Sorry for the unsolicited history lesson). And I agree with you, Jimmie did this song justice.
