V = Taehyung never seem to be able to follow the norms. That's what attracted me to him. Suddenly on 8/8 or 9 pre-order announcement for his solo album dropped. Out of the blue. Release date on 9/8/23. 5 songs and 1 bonus. (All 5 songs will have MV). Then he dropped his first MV on 8/10 (Love me again). No promotion, nothing. On a weekday at that (most don't even know). His vocal on that song 💖. He then drop (Rainy Day) on the following day. His title track will drop on the album release day. Everything is so artistic, chill, and has certain special vibe. That Tae for you. He works so hard (make MV for all 5 songs) but he release them like after thoughts. He makes so much songs. However, he will only release a snippets on his live and never release them. As if he just want to create arts. How others will be able to find his arts....not his problem. 😅

This is such a vibe, its a great song. I love his voice so much! Its like a cup of hot cocoa, a cozy fire and a warm embrace all in one. Im ot7, but i find his voice super comforting. (Btw, i liked your analogy of honey in your ears) my husband of 30 years died last year, and ever since i start my slumber playlist with his songs to lull me to sleep & comfort me in the cold dark of night where grief donkey kicks me in the chest lol.
Agreed, the cinematics of this are stellar. I know its a more romantic song, but in my head cannon he's singing to yeontan (his pupper) rofl. When i saw him sit at the table with 2 place settings, and yeontan sitting across from him, i chuckled & it's now head cannon 😂 💜

thanks for the reaction. and think you will have to ask whoever wrote the song - NOT V - about who broke whoever's heart. but Tae can really deliver the sentiment perfectly. His voice is truly the best instrument to deliver the message with so much soul.
Min Hee Jin said she wanted to focus on Tae's inner self. I find it difficult to believe it's not about him. Couldn't Tae have worked on the album storyline with the producer and team? In his letter included on the album, he said the same thing as the lyrics: he hasn't changed, but his thoughts have.

first MV for Taehyung
Someone noticed the color palette from the Rainy Days MV. It consists of blue and yellow which are the only colors that dogs can see. The entire MV itself is based on Yeontan's POV. Some say maybe that's the reason why Taehyung is also blonde. Even the photo of yeontan that became the album cover layover to embedding yeontan's photo and name on navier, this is the debut of yeontan and V. but this mv is made simple as the daily routine of someone who lives alone from waking up, preparing breakfast, working until falling asleep because of boredom .

oh wow, I actually didn't know that, that's pretty clever of him, that's why Taehyung is the best dad. I actually never seen someone did this kind of album if you know what I mean, from the actual design of the album, the aesthetic vibes his giving off, and apparently dedicating the whole album for Tannie, which is just endearing. It really creates unforgettable precious memories for V and Yeontan.

his sound fits my personal tastes the best too! you should check out more ot7 songs, they actually talked about romantic relationships in quite a lot of them! idk why people tend to overlook/forget that fact about all those songs. my favorites are converse high, miss right, 134340, (+ closer, sdl, these are from recent solo albums tho.)
Great reaction, this is my vibe, and this is taehyung code Music, the artistry of the mv, his voice is just better with time and one vocal coach told him “your voice is soulful people feel something when you sing”, he touch your feelings with his voice. Another b-side was released hope you can react to, it’s called “Love me again”. His SoundCloud songs -scenery, winter bear and snow flower- will be released in streaming platforms on 8/28 and album and single slow dancing on 9/08 , BORAHAE !
we don’t know anything about bts’ personal lives - which is great - but it’s plainly obvious that at least the younger members’ recent solo songs are just regular love songs (regular in terms of what kind of person they are talking about/to), doesn’t matter if they are about their actual relationships or just love songs with no real story behind them, but there’s really no need to guess in my opinion, especially in this case with both of taehyung’s songs that are out so far.

The only MV reference that sticks out to me is that in the chorus of friends, written by jimin about jimin and V being soulmates ,jimin says to v “hello my alien” and the baguette painting is a sort of alien self portrait of tae himself.

Honey I don't know if u know but he just got into them meaning he don't know that much about them? Although I agree with him knowing them better, the keeping up with them comes after he knows them better and develop love for them. And for that he still need to watch some other content like burn the stage, rise of bangtan, and run and more so I think it's too early for him to know when they have album or single and all stuff and it's too early for u to expect that from him too💜

I know you were distracted by a million different things in this video but I'm surprised that you missed the animated Rose turning into real life In the first watch.
The dog is a look-alike. Tae's dog, Yeontan, is a Pomeranian that looks like this one. He wasn't at home in Korea when filming this video. Did you notice that the character he drew with the bread was in the lower right corner in the silhouette shot and was mouthing the words to the song?
Bro you missed the meaning of the song coz you read too much in lines, he's talking bout his lover. Coz he says I remember your kiss. So obviously it's a lover. Plus you missed the scenes showed in MV talking about the vibe. The scene starts with him waking up, he's caressing the other side of bed. Then he's smelling a hoodie, throws it away and then wears it to lie in the bed. Also the two plates he put on table. It's about past lover it's pretty obvious
IDK where you get this interpretation of "they're trying to show that they are real grown up men by talking abt romantic or sexual relationships" It comes off as if you think that
1. armys "baby" them instead of treating them with the respect grown men (regardless if they've experienced romantic or sexual relationships, that's not what makes them "grown men") deserve
2. they are trying to use their songs to make snarky subtle messages aimed at armys trying to prove themselves and "make a statement" abt being grown ass men
Neither of these things are true, I think you're starting to project a lot of thoughts you have of other KPOP groups and fans that just don't apply to BTS and army. It's like you're consuming and analizing every BTS content through the lens of another artist and it makes no sense to me.
If you know BTS, you'd know that BTS have always talked abt the things they've experienced. When they were young and in school they wrote abt it, they wrote abt love, abt sexual attraction, abt the school system in korea, when they started becoming young adults they wrote abt it, when they were trying to find themselves they wrote abt it. It's not a statement bc they don't need to make a statement. It's just what they wanted to say as artists. It's not some self assertive response to "being treated as babies", bc armys don't do that. It's just their genuine selves. And it's also not something new. Yes, they are singing in an adult way abt things usually adults experience, but it's not a "statement" of their adulthood, they're just doing what they've always done, write and sing abt themselves.
If there are any messages AIMED at a specific 'someone' in a song or MV it's towards anyone BUT armys. Either other kpop stans, kpop journalists, companys, artists, haters, media, korean government, etc.
If my understanding of your oppinion of these songs and "making a statement abt their adulthood" is incorrect pls let me know, but that's how I understood what you were trying to say.
exactly! i find it so weird how people (a lot of reactors too) only point out this kind of stuff for seven and tae’s songs when there has been A LOT of their songs that talks/imply “adult” experiences and relationships. like crazy, closer, cypher 3, seesaw, sdl, and so on. also romantic relationships has been the theme of quite a number of their songs even from their earlier years.
i’ve seen some people argue by saying it’s because usually they use euphemism and does not say it explicitly, but that’s also strange because using euphemism or any symbolic writing does not make the message any less valid, it’s just an expression of art :/
@@sweetea9178 YEP! Like, I get the reaction of army being surprised with JK’s explicitness for the first like 30 min bc he’s the maknae and we’ve seen him grow up over the years, I was too. But when it comes to the topics themselves this is SO normal for BTS, and even if he doesn’t know BTS and their discography the fact he just assumes this is some big statement instead of it just being the norm for them comes from a preconceived notion of other K-pop groups (IMO).
