You killed it! The Human Powered boy - he was a WOW at Reg. I volunteered a couple of days, one was at registration. Man, is he had his panties in a wad. He asked if there was a map for the feed-zones. I politely told him no although they are marked and tagged within the Ridewithgps route. He attempted to tell me "NO they are NOT" When myself and another volunteer showed him that he road away throwing his hands up in the air. Not a Cory Greenberg fan...
Yea. Doesn’t surprise me at all. Sure hope Mark is all good. He was looking solid but didn’t see him on results. Hope all is good. And thanks for the cheering out there. Pretty cool to hear some familiar voices all the way out there. Thanks!
Upon third or fourth watch, here are the life lessons from Dizzle: 1. If you ain’t grammin you ain’t gravelin 2. Don’t let the front group roll away thinking you will ever see them again 3. Pay attention to course markings or gps for navigation 4. Don’t let roadies lead into dirt sections Anything I missed?
Good video and ride (‘cept that Navigation faux pas which I am all too familiar with 🤷🏼♂️). Thanks for sharing MATCHBOX head honcho and say was that Curtis White ahead of you @ 1:35? ……………p.s. after seeing whole video it was indeed the mayor. Nice CX train with Lancy Pants too…..
Fun to watch you and Lance rip the Black Canyon decent. Super impressive. It was dicey for a roadie . . . like me . . . LOL. I missed that turn as well following a group. Total facepalm. The mass start is something else, you gotta pin it for sure to get position or you're passing peeps all day and it's hard to find a group. Awesome recap of the race. Can't wait for next year and hope that you're back! Also, totally agree with your tire suggestion. I think 35s are money for BWR SD. I was on 38s that blew out to 40 and felt like I was tossing watts. Question - What's the best ways for master roadies who want to stay upright to work on their handling skills and comfort at speed on dirt? Just reps? ride with people who know what they're doing? Drills? Thx!
Yea. Those are all good ideas. Not a bad idea to get a MTB and rip some single track occasionally. That’ll help for sure. I started out MTN biking when I first got into cycling and I think that’s where the skill really gets developed. Even for roadies, it’s beneficial.
"Are you married?" "Yeah" "Then you know, stop talkin" HAHAHA Truth brother!
Nice race!
Had to drop some mid-race wisdom. Haha.
Drew has the BEST non-verbal race breakdown videos on TH-cam.
It’s a small niche, but glad I’m at the top of it! Haha.

Yea. Accurate.
Much appreciate the recap and the time you put in to add in the captions. Respect ✌️
Thanks for watching man!
The best gravel race video. well done.
Awesome. Thanks!
😂 “If you ain’t grammin’ you ain’t gravelin’ “
I can’t believe I came up with that. I’m gonna have to copyright it or something. Haha. Or make t shirts.
Awesome vid Drew. Loved the mid vid nutrition plan update too, appreciate that.
Yea. Would love to do more of those little snippets. Takes some fore-thought. Haha.
HPH guy omg.....so CAT5 LMAO. I was like yo! swallow it and let the fast guy pass.....PLEEEZ!
Agreed. Haha. Thanks!
Great video buddy . Congratulations , awesome ride !
Thanks Jimmy!

Yea. What are the odds of all the cx guys being in the same group. Pretty funny.
Thanks Drew, another great video...
fantastic footage, felt like i was riding it too! I am doing the BWR Canada in 4 weeks
Awesome. Have fun out there!
Great video! Really captured the day.
Thanks for watching!
Awesome footage and video, thanks!
Thanks for watching!
@@DrewDillmanChannel You're welcome!
They needed one of those red-shirts where you missed that turn. Nice ride.
I think they had one there shortly after I missed it. Haha.
All that Euro sand CX racing paid off there! Nice race
That’s right!
Your descending skills had me on the edge of my chair! But, no glasses, Yikes!
music killed the vibe , no need .. nice vid :)))
Awesome race vid! New subscriber here.
Awesome. Thanks for following! Appreciate it.
Are you and Dylan ever going to show up at the same race again? I’m not sure who is dodging who. 😉
He’s dodging me. %100.
I agree totally. Dizzle vs BHDJ! It’s needs to happen
Drew, was the GoPro/camera on the handle bars or strapped to your chest?
Guessing a chest mount as the handle bar hoods would never be in view if mounted below bike computer in front…
Great video!
Thanks!
+1 for the hydration pack aero gains
That’s right. Haha.

What gear ratio did you use ?
Awesome video Drew! What camera set up do you have? It’s super stable.
Got the new GoPro. The stabilization just keeps getting better and better. Definitely makes a big difference.
150g in each bottle...i like it! Did you just drink water the rest of the time or take mix via hand ups? Fantastic video.
Grabbed the neutral feed water bottles and used them to refill my bottles through the race.
Best video.
Thanks man!
Legend.
Human powered boy seems like he's fun at parties
/s
What a great video, What tools attack at aid station?
It’s not really attacking, it’s just that some people don’t stop and some do.
this is a good one.
Appreciate it! Thanks!
How would “CX-dizzle” rate your sand handling skills?
I’ve never been great in the sand, but I’m sure better than a lot of the “gravelers” I was racing against. Ha
Nice video except I had to mute the sound due to the repeating song
Tire choice?
Vitoria Zero 37c. Not the best choice. Felt pretty slow for sure. But excellent flat protection!
did you ever figure out what the human powers rider’s problem was?
He and another rider got into a little tussle right before they caught up to me.
Not sure why human power guy wouldn’t let you roll ahead ..
35s would have won
Agreed. Ha
2:15 and I had enough and quit watching.
Bummer.
bummer
Nice yellow line violations. Jesus. That is not a ride, how do they get permits for that?
They do have a lot of course Marshall’s out on course. Pretty awesome.
