I think a cool gimmick for Rayvis boss is that during the second phase he slowly regain his health which means Kestis have to be on the offensive to disrupt his healing
The problem I think was rayvis is highly aggressive and if you use akimbo stance you can make fast work. I like to think of the first health bar as breaking the armor then second as his actual body.
So I think knocked down what the villains in Jedi Survivor Represent. Dagan represents Cal’s burden to the past. Rayvis represents Cal’s unwillingness to let go of his own code. And Bode represents Cal’s need to control the future. When Dagan says that Cal is still being burdened by the past he’s right. Cal’s need to bring back the order in some way is him being shackled by his past. And it’s ironic because Dagan is still shackled to his past, because his past is the only thing he has left. Unlike Dagan tho, Cal has friends and family he can rely on, unlike Dagan who relied on himself. Rayvis’s need to fulfill his masters oath mirrors greatly to when Cal made a promise to his master Jaro. So much time has changed for them, but their still in the same place, Rayvis is still Dagan’s servant and Cal is still trying to fight in the frontlines. However, the main difference is, Rayvis had no will left to live, he wants to die, cause in the end all that Rayvis has is his honor. Cal has more then his honor. And I finally we get to Bode. Bodes need to provide a better future for his daughter mirrors Cal’s want to provide a better future for his people. But Bode let his want cloud his judgement, every decision he made kept on leading him to a undesirable fate, a fate that Cal would’ve shared. Cal needed to let go of the future so he can focus on what’s important now.

I was seriously impressed with Dagan Gera and Rayvis. Quite solid antagonists. Oh, and Bobba's little cameo was _gold._ B) And as for the ending, man, I don't have the words. It really hits differently, like something from _Uncharted._ Kudos to the devs. ;/
I think some of the most interesting character moments with Cal (and coolest fights, ngl) come from the fallen Jedi. Taron Malicos, Trilla Suduri, Dagan Gera, Bode Akuna. Theyre all people who he very easily could have become, and its neat to watch.

Remember this guy was locked in a bacta tank for over a century, without his dominant arm, woke up and still provided a fight against Cal. Dagan may have not been the most interesting villain in this game (I'd attribute that to Rayvis), but he was definitely a lot better than Mr. "I'm gonna lose to a dumpster diver with no formal training".

To me, it's not about Ben's weakness compared to Gara but more the clarity of his motivations. Dagan's heel turn in attempt to "make the Jedi great again" (ironically becoming a Sith by embracing fascism) had way more foreshadowing than Kylo's spontaneous face turn in Rise of Skywalker, thus it had a way bigger impact.

I was right, there were problems with Dagan Gera's renderer. A lot of the vids of his battle have his model completely invisible during the moments leading up to his death, and I figured it was do ne on purpose or was a glitch, and I was right on the later.

Palpatine gave him limbs that were a couple sizes up from what he was used to. Just so he wouldn't get any more dumb ideas like trying to somersault over a Jedi Master with the high ground over a river of lava.
I love it how they implemented this in the game. Everyone wants to fight Vader but our character is too much of a rookie to go toe 2 toe with him. So they gave us sequence in which we control other character.

To be Frank, I don’t really see any resemblance to visions in terms of lightsaber functionality. Everything in the game has pretty much been shown before.

Disney nerfed lightsabers. Lightsabers are hotter than our sun, which means that not only would that have 100% killed him but that would have fried the organs around them to prevent them from any recovery at all! And yet people are still surviving them. 😒
Maybe unpopular opinion, but im so glad they added people who arent force sensitive that wield lightsabers. I never understood why only Sith and Jedi can wield them. Especially after Order 66
