That is Casimero's best defense against a very tall figther with a very long reach. You don't just run or stay stagnant on the same place or else you become a sitting duck or practice target by a much much bigger opponent. You have to be mobile, side step left and right and when cornered, clinch. Long proven defense to stop the assault or at least mitigate it. This fight can be considered David vs. Goliath but given such imbalance Casimero gave a good fight. If Casimero is not a good and a class figther, he could be an easy victim for Oguni. Oguni could boldosed him like his previous victim but instead he ate those hard punches of Casimero so many times. Many figthers are not intimidated by cuts big or small but Oguni choose not to continue after the referee declare a headbutt and a draw. To say that Casimero did not satisfy the crowd by his performance, maybe they did not see how Mayweather fights, boring at its best. Casimero excites the crowd. You can see in his offensive an aggressiveness to put down Oguni. It's just too bad not all you want in boxing comes the way a boxer wants. There's a lot of factors. Ogani is big, strong, have a quite good defense ang a strong chin too. He also throw strong punches and combinations and jabs as well. That is why Casimero failed to knock out Oguni in the first round up to the fourth. However even if Casimero looks so tiny against Oguni, he still was able to land many of his signature punches. Who knows what happened to Oguni after Casimero connected his last overhand punch in the fourth round and the referee did not intervene. For the next rounds if the fight could have continue, it may go probably either way but Oguni choose not to continue. Maybe he felt something and decided it's better for him to be safe and avoid further punishment that would seal his demise...

1ラウンドは、ビミョーなところがありますが、私は、有効打で小國有利ととります！
カシメロの有効打もありましたが、大振りで、たたみかけるような攻撃がなかったと思います。やはり、練習不足と調整不足があったと思います！
小國選手もいいのをもらっていましたが、基本に忠実になおかつ、相手のパンチを前で受けたり、ずらしたり、強打を殺していたようにみえました！
両選手ともに悔しい思いだったと思いますが、自分より小柄で大振りしてパンチのある相手に対して、小國選手は、お手本のような闘い方を見せてくれたと思いました。

That is Casimero's best defense against a very tall figther with a very long reach. You don't just run or stay stagnant on the same place or else you become a sitting duck or practice target by a much much bigger opponent. You have to be mobile, side step left and right and when cornered, clinch. Long proven defense to stop the assault or at least mitigate it. This fight can be considered David vs. Goliath but given such imbalance Casimero gave a good fight. If Casimero is not a good and a class figther, he could be an easy victim for Oguni. Oguni could boldosed him like his previous victim but instead he ate those hard punches of Casimero so many times. Many figthers are not intimidated by cuts big or small but Oguni choose not to continue after the referee declare a headbutt and a draw. To say that Casimero did not satisfy the crowd by his performance, maybe they did not see how Mayweather fights, boring at its best. Casimero excites the crowd. You can see in his offensive an aggressiveness to put down Oguni. It's just too bad not all you want in boxing comes the way a boxer wants. There's a lot of factors. Ogani is big, strong, have a quite good defense ang a strong chin too. He also throw strong punches and combinations and jabs as well. That is why Casimero failed to knock out Oguni in the first round up to the fourth. However even if Casimero looks so tiny against Oguni, he still was able to land many of his signature punches. Who knows what happened to Oguni after Casimero connected his last overhand punch in the fourth round and the referee did not intervene. For the next rounds if the fight could have continue, it may go probably either way but Oguni choose not to continue. Maybe he felt something and decided it's better for him to be safe and avoid further punishment that would seal his demise...

Originally, the highly regarded Inoue was scheduled to face WBO belt holder John Riel Casimero. That fight fell apart due to the changing economics in the sport because of the coronavirus pandemic. Casimero is now facing Duke Micah on Sept. 26.
"We would like to thank John Riel Casimero and Sean Gibbons [of MP Promotions]. We might actually send a Christmas hamper to the Philippines for making the fight happen," Tolj joked. "We don't run from 'the Monster,' we're there to take him on."

NAOYA INOUE PREPARES FOR JOHN RIEL CASIMERO TITLE FIGHT
“Each and every fan is going to have expectations. And I want to defy and go beyond each and every one of their expectations,” Inoue told The Associated Press, and said he hopes to fight John Riel Casimero, the WBO bantamweight champion. The fight had been expected to take place in 2020 but was called off due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Inoue hopes to move up a weight class in 2023 as he is yet to tire of the sport, saying:
“You can’t keep at this unless you really like it. There may be injuries and a risk to your life. It’s a dangerous sport. It’s not something you can do without liking it.
“I am still far from the ideal style of boxing I am pursuing. If I get contented now, then I will just hit a wall when I go to super bantamweight.
“There’s so much farther to go before I reach my peak, and I still don’t know my true potential.
“I still have seven or eight years as a pro, and so I’m going to keep heading higher.”
