I agree with everything here. This is utterly exceptional, have ordered my limited to 33 box set thing, and I can't wait for it! This dude really puts out proper quality. Yep its here, number 13/33, it's a thing of beauty - like this jewel of a record.
I think the sound has something solemn, majestic about it. Like the soundtrack to a Viking battle. If I had to guess, I would have guessed either Norway or Sweden. That's why I was surprised when I found out that this band is from down under. But OK, why shouldn't there be awesome Black Metal bands in Australia too? A good album that I'm sure I'll be hearing a few more times this winter. Great music! Thanks for uploading! And again an album that I would never have known without BMP!

This band is truly on an upward trajectory. Loved everything they've released so far! After a few more listens this could be a top 10 of the year contender. Definitely my favourite intro of the year.

Listen to the first song, and then listen to Dissection - Maha Kali and tell me that's not very close to the same riff. I'm not gonna tell anyone to stifle themselves, and not draw influence from other bands, but this was so similar, I put one and one together in like 3 minutes upon first listen. It just goes to show how much influence Dissection and Jon Nödveidt continually have on the metal scene. As long as new bands continue to show good taste in older music, i'm here for it.
It means bloody or "of blood", unsure if author from Australia has some slavic roots but his artistic name Krvna Vatra means Blood Fire. At least that's how I understood it, as I'm from Croatia. Really interesting tunes.

@@timeravager oh i see, so all horror movies are cheesy because they're all about the same themes? it's a genre of music that usually deals with the same concepts i haven't found a black metal band that sings about "the hood" or cars and "bitches" musical genres usual cover the same topics from a different point of view or just a different take on the subject. I don't know what you want? what do you suggest? also you know this album isn't about Jesus in the original sense right? there is more to it?
