Have you read River of Souls? It's a short story about Demandred and his rise to power in Shara. I think it would be so cool if the show included that.
Also I completely agree, I'm not loving the Lan plot as much as I wanted to. But I can see how spending all this time with Alanna and her warders is going to pay off .. especially because season 3 is confirmed to be mostly adapting book 4.
