TH-cam is already thronged with Spiti and Ladakh videos while this feels like a breath of fresh air. The drone-angle shot was highly intuitive according to what you were explaining. A good touch. Do keep on sharing such off-roading related information. Would request you to further elaborate the usage of different gears (and other driving tricks), with a montage of particular terrains whenever they come and when you do shift the appropriate gear, like when you face mud, ice, gravel etc. Also, showing/explaining where 4H would be the most useful
Very well explained. One more thing, one should always know the terrain they are driving in as it will definitely help, usually this is done by the co passenger or the driver can walk the path once.👍

Reverse Mai 4 low engage hota hai kya ! Well I know the difference between 4WD & AWD . But would like you to explain it in simpler language. If you can brother !
Tell detail D lock d unlock.after sift to 4h 4l all vehicle need to disengage d lock.for that you need to drive some feet in reverse.or in front few feet.this can save damages to gear.

I feel the 4H in a thar is absolutely useless . It has so little torque that you constantly have to use 4L all.the time .

Most probably, more wear and tear.
What about fuel efficiency (H-L)?
Fuel efficiency is always a combined cycle. No 4L fuel efficiency numbers as it is engaged only sometimes.
In a blunt way it can be said 4L burns more fuel then 4H...in such terrains mileage on avg could be 10-11 for turbo diesel...
