Any advice on how to deal with “same POSE / CAMERA ANGEL syndromes” ? All my bi-pedal characters end up as bust shots, head at a 3/4 turn, looking to the left, wings fanned out (if they have wings) even if they’re different species, different ages ECT…

This was real helpful. When I was a kid I did the scribbling sort of thumbnails all the time, and was pretty happy with it. I'd then erase the parts I didn't like. But then I figured I needed to learn more 'proper' gesture drawing and methods, and since, I've struggled to even get motivated to draw. Seeing this and it being a perfectly valid way to draw a thumbnail got me inspired to do that again, and I felt a lot more comfortable about just doing quick thumbnails again. So thanks!

everything i've ever drawn from imagination doesn't even come close to how good these poses look, despite me only spending like, what, 3 minutes on these?

The reason why (draw like sir) is the best tutorial person out on TH-cam is because he’s actually talking to us. All these other guys are only showing off. And wait I can’t forget about Mr Trent Kanuiga, he’s amazing as well. You guys should look him up too.
My drawings have become a lot more dynamic. Still need work but they are getting better thanks to you and some other artists.
