I guess the reason why MCI clicked with the viewers is because it's a fresh take to the usual Pinoy tv dramas that we are used to. Then they added in Fidel and Klay's characters who brightens the ambience even in those chaotic and depressing scenes. It would not have been effective if not for their oozing chemistry and I think Fidel would not be the Fidel we adore now if it wasn't for David and so is Klay if not for Barbie. So David, you and Barbie definitely deserve the praises and admiration you are getting now because you two are amazing actors. Go #FiLay! 👏🫰😘
I suggest na mag open ka ng restaurant na Filipino delicacies na 1800s or 1900s din yung setting or ambiance ng resto. Ginoong Fidel or tunog meztiso yung pangalan ng resto mo.

Honestly di ko sya kilala. Just saw him on tiktok as in kada scroll sila lumalabas ni Barbie. So ayun na hook na ko sa MCI and followed all his socials haha. I didn't know David until I saw him sa mga tiktok vids ng MCI. In my x years on earth, I'm not a fan of any artist except for SB19 and now David and Barbie. GMA, pls planned Meet&Greet with Filay and Movies pls!!!! 😭

The thing is, kaya naging patok sa mga tao ang karakter mo ay dahil na rin sa personality ni Fidel. Si Fidel kasi confident, he's aware na he's attractive kaya lumalabas lalo kagwapuhan mo. I believe kaya ka mas nabigyan ng atensyon right now is it's very different from your other roles na decent, nice, shy and reserved lang personality. Mahirap mapansin kapag gano'n.

Lumabas kase kay David yung other side niya sa character ni Fidel. Yung side nya ng pagiging expressive when it comes to love shows some side of him. Sabi nga nya, he gave it all out when he loves someone so I guess nagreflect yun sa karakter niya bilang Fidel at isa yun sa factor kung bakit nakakakilig yung tandem nila ni Klay. Nakakakilig kase talaga kapag nagconfess ng pagmamahal ang isang introvert though hindi introvert si Fidel but the one playing it is. And yes they shine the most when they're confident. And those reactions were both cute, funny and romantic - something that I used to love when I watch kdramas kaya naging patok din yung FiLay. 🤗😊 ❤️
I'm not a fan of GMA teleseryes. Nanood lng ako ng MCI dahil 10 yrs akong nagturo ng FIL subj sa HS, at naituro ko Yung apat: Ibong Adarna, Florante at Laura at Ang Noli at Fili. Gsto kong tingnan anong gagawin nla sa istorya at Anong mga kabanata ang ipapalabas nila. Wat caught my attention first was the cinematography, setting & costumes. Sabi ko, wow, ganda! Acting wise, alam ko na na yakang yaka ni Dennis, to. Big revelation tlaga sa kin sina Julie Ann, Barbie, Juancho at David. Sabi ko, galing nmn, nakuha nila yung tamang timpla sa roles nila! And lastly, hindi rn ako mki-loveteam. Pero dahil sa ganda ng character arcs nina Klay at Fidel, Hindi ko akalain na mkikilig ako sa young stars na to! Nw I'm hooked sa MCI. Galingan mo, David. Marami ka nang fans ngayon. Panindigan mo Yan. Hahaha! By d way, I'm 54 and hindi na FIL ang subj load ko. Now I'm teaching my major subj which is Science. Masarap lang mg nostalgia Nung dating subj na naituro ko rn ng matagal. Congrats, GMA! Looking forward for more high quality dramas like this.

Filay is an unexpected love team that people just started to love how they were enemies and now lovers hahaha a good character development of Fidel and how their relationship transitioned throughout the show given that they are both good actors makes their whole tandem really good and well deserved recognition especially they are not on the novel Fidel and Klay it makes it more exciting everyone to watch❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
