Dear Ken, you truly encouraged me and made me feel so very good about being a teacher , when we met at your exhibition at Philip Bacon Galleries some years ago. You had been my favourite artist when I was at school and subsequently, Teachers College. I had one of the dresses you designed with the Opera House and other Australian symbols on it. Boughtbit in Surfers and still have it, but it's currently in storage. Thought I might frame it! When we met I had expected to ask you questions, yet you lifted me up by telling me that teaching was such a noble profession. That was such a gentlemanly thing to do. We had already visited your Sydney gallery, which also did not disappoint. All the very best.
