    Cleaning up a lawn after a flood sucks. Never used liquid dithiopyr before nor did I realize that you needed max rate and mso to get post activity on crabgrass. Thank you sir for the heads up!

    Will the burning of your yard add carbon to the soil? I used to see it often as a kid and those peoples lawns were always pristine, now I am wondering if it was added carbon from the burning of the grass.

    We mix it with amecimine D herbicide we use Dow dimension with MSO modified vegetable oil. We mix it 16 oz dimension one in one with MSO but with a cold water mix it gels up our permagreen ride ons all the time. We use dimension as pre post purpose but I always have to retreat when the heat comes with quinchloric acid are we mixing dimension too light? 16 oz per 12 gallons on permagreen

    I want to clear my 1/4 acre which is 99% sandburs that were recently mowed down. Will this product work on my weeds or do I have to burn the lot up?

      It will offer some protection. Id also look at a good post emergent program to go along with it. Don't rely entirely on pre for burs

    Good Stuff Matt. I can't believe you can just burn grass like that and no PSA either. That was amazing! I would've got arrested here in MA. It's nice to see you doing more videos recently. Your video's were some of the first ones I watched and got a lot out of them. I'm usually cooked by Sunday night, but try and watch the lawn and garden show during the week. Be well.

    I'm using Dithiopyr 40wsb. It comes in 4 packets. Can I measure 1.28 oz of that and add it to a gallon of water? I am frustrated because I can't find instructions anywhere on how to use this stuff. It looks like you're using the liquid dithiopyrEW. That isn't an option for me because the price is over $225. Please help. Thank you.

      If that's the rate you need, then theoretically yes you can do that. just make sure youre wearing appropriate PPE and be exttrra careful not to let it dust into your face, etc

    Great video Matt! I had no idea that to get the post-emergent activity with dithiopyr that you had to use the max application rate and a surfactant. Very informative!

    Matt, you put the Dithiopyr down in liquid form. So I presume that it will be taken up systemically, if there are no leafs present at the time of application. Is that how Dithiopyr works?

      If there are no leaves present, the. The vapor barrier will take it out as it emerges. Same MOA as prodiamine. Will work the same way.

    my yard is a TTTF blend. i'm in MA. soil temps currently are roundabout 40deg and rising. 55deg soil temp probably coming in 3-4 weeks. is it too early to put the pre-emergent down? how about the first fert application?

    What are your thoughts on split applications. They are so close together. Is one full rate application that different?

      Split apps are fine, but don't expect post activity from it

      @@stevewilley5185 tends to be higher efficacy (by 1-2%) likely due to coverage quality by making two apps. 1 app introduces greater probability of missed areas due to applicator error

    Hi Matt! Central Ohio has soil temps hovering 48F five day average. What is your opinion and experience on applying fertilizer now at 48F soil temp vs others that state don’t apply until 55-60F? Because it is April and can still have cold weather for 3 more weeks. Just wondering your thoughts.

      @@TheGrassFactor When it comes to agitating mix in Permagreen I always stir both tanks with a piece of pvc pipe I carry on truck....PPC uses a bamboo stick lol.

      It's not the drainage ditch in front of my yard. I live on a water way that flooded after a 6" rainfall. Made it under my house. Luckily i have a crawl space and the only recommendation was a few fans. You can see flooding example in the video above.
