Hello, actually now Saudia Arabia has slowly become more open compared before. I am a nurse in Jeddah for 10 years. Al Ula is a very nice place. No need to wear a hijab/tarha for as long as you don’t wear too tight clothing, sleeveless.. mid dress will do. Pants/shirt can be worn. We went there wearing pants and shirt as long as not fitting clothes. Holding hands is acceptable. Much better if you book thru Saudia Airlines to avoid very long lay over. God bless! ♥️

I actually felt safer in Saudi Arabia than here in the US. I worked in Riyadh as a pediatric nurse for 5 years. I was comfortable leaving a whole shopping cart outside of a store while I shop, even my purse on a food court table while I queue to order food. I would love to go back one day for vacation and explore the kingdom that I loved despite all the misconceptions and see how it is now, progressive and flourishing Alhamdulillah! And yeah, the Saudis are one of the friendliest and warmest people you’ll ever meet, they just look intimidating and sound like they’re angry when they talk.😂

Yes, this country has so many strict laws but if you are not a deviant human being naman, it’s actually sooo chillax here ESPECIALLY these past few years where many restrictions have been lifted. As of the holding hands, no problem yan. Hindi naman kayo naglalandian while naghohding hands or naghahalikan. If you live here, you will see that even those locals who wears all black and with eyes only showing, you will find some of them holding hands with their husbands. At sa mga ganyan places din like Al Ula, lenient sila jan kse alam nila na that tourist place is really made to attract for foreign tourists so ok lang yang mga off shoulders jan. Sana lang talaga you have visited their during yung colder season. Even on November, it would have been nice weather or March or April which would have been very forgiving weather. Anyhow, so glad you enjoyed Saudi Arabia. Im 💯 ٪ sure kakaiba din cya sa lahat ng mga countries na napuntahan nyo so magiging memorable talaga.

And then when it comes to damit as long as hindi sya bastusin, okay lang po. Hindi po gaya before na very strict na pati hair po need takpan now is open na 😊😊

Hi! Next time you plan to visit again, take Saudia Airlines direct flight na yun for 9 hours. I've worked as a Dental Asst in Riyadh for 11 years. Very strict sila dati but now there are lots of restrictions lifted na, lots of misconception about SA but it's actually fun living there, lalo na if you go to American Compounds,you can drink & party😁. And tutuo, you and your belongings are much safer. And Saudis are sooo trusting, if you want to buy something from their shop your money is not enough, they will give you the item and tell you to come back pay your utang😁 💚🇸🇦
There are credit cards that offer access to airport lounges all over the world even if you dont have a lounge included in your business class flight, might be worth checking! We have used it in NAIA 😊
