My little sister served in the Peace Corps in Mali for 2 years. She was in a remote village, much like the one shown in this video. I went to visit and spent a week with her in the village, drawing water from the well, eating locally grown millet grain porridge and mangoes. The people were so welcoming and friendly, particularly the children. The first night I arrived the villagers came together to dance and sing under the moon light. It was the most wonderful and mesmerizing experience I've ever had while traveling.
And some idiots start conflict, attack such villages, I hate wars and strife. These villagers are the warmest people you will ever encounter. They don't have much but they share with love

I did a month-long backpacking trip though Togo, Ghana, Burkina Faso and Mali in the 1990s. I loved West Africa and especially the sights and sounds of Mali. Greetings from north Wales, UK.
I had to repeat this piece several times to enjoy every aspect of the astonishing performance. God bless you guys, I wish all the best for our brothers in Mali. Love from Algeria. 🇩🇿 🇲🇱

I just always come back to this video whenever I feel really down. I find it so soothing and calm and relaxing. It just takes my soul to some mystical place. So so soooo beautiful, I love it

Unfortunately, change doesn't come by hoping. It comes by fighting for justice, starting in our own families, to neighborhoods, to cities to our countries. I believe in fighting using the tactics I learned from Quran: altruism, patience and perseverance, trust in God, high moral standards, unity and no betrayal.
Cette musique est une ode à l'amour entre les peuples . Il n'y a ni blanc ni noir ni asiatique ou arabes mais tout simplement un groupe d'être humain qui compose le monde 💖💖😘😘

Lovely instrumental music. Truly universal language. Is here a culture anywhere on earth that does not have a musical tradition? I'm inclined to doubt it. Thank you, playing for change, for the variety and creativity you bring out in your programs. This is my primary choice for background music for the activities of my daily life, and I'm also introducing many others to your program. Keep it up. Music just may turn out to be the most effective way t bring people together. Thank you for all you are doing. Much love to all the musicians, and to those who conceived of the ideals carried forward. Among other things, you bring hope for the future.
