i want to study in korea but i dont know the language and im worried to be by myself in a country without friends or family. what is some advice you have? I really want to be independent but just a bit anxious 💖

hi! you can most definitely do it! i was a study abroad student, so i was still the same major as i was back home- child development :) however, i took a class unrelated to it

hellooo! your videos are really cute and soothing to watch! just a quick question, do international students, especially when I'm non-korean, need to be fluent in Korean to apply for the admission? do we have to submit the TOPIK results if we're from an English-speaking country? 😭😭
You don't need to know any Korean. If you are from an english speaking country like US, UK, Canada, Australia, etc you can submit your passport to prove that you can speak English instead of taking a test

oh hi thank u so much!! 🥰 no you don’t need to be fluent (im also non-korean!) int’l students would have english speaking classes unless you’re taking a korean language course. hope this helps~~

I have a question when ur from other countries like Philippines when u got accepted did u have a free flight to Korea? I was planning to go there but don't have enough money for the tickets
yes i believe any international student who attends the program takes care of their own air fare! however, there are scholarships avail to help with that :)

hi! yes when i came it was still winter break, so we had to wait till the official "move-in day." hope this helps!
hii just wondering how many periods/units did you study? was the workload heavy?
hi! since it was a fast paced course (3 weeks) i only took 3 units/1 course! the workload was not heavy however the exams made up your grade.

hi thanks so much! at the time, yes. this was in december 2022, but nowadays people dont wear them as much anymore:)

it rlly depends! i ended up getting my hair done and did a looot of shopping so i spent about $1000 usd all in all!
