Refinishing a pair of mid-century modern side tables

I recently found this pair of mid-century modern style side tables at a local thrift store. There wasn't any additional details on either as to who they were made by but they had definitely seen some better days. Both made from plywood they had held up quite well so for the grand total of $14 it felt like they would be worth the time to refinish and see if I could find some use for them around the house. A lot of unscrewing of bolts, sanding, some stain and they're almost as good as new… or as close to as I could make them.
