I have watched you for years... My wife got diagnosed AML leukemia 12/3/2020, shortly after Nicole, I believe. She went a different route and had the bone marrow transplant last March. Everything was good until her 2 week check up in January. She relapsed and it was awful, all the different chemo's would not kill it, plus infections. She decided to come home 4/23/2022 and hospice came in, I thought they were going to be more help, but at the end I'm happy she was home with her dogs. You are an amazing person at your young age to help not only me 42 years old, but older people how to move on from losing a loved one. My wife passed 5/15/2022 and sometimes just have a hard time, so I turn on my computer and watch your videos to cheer me up. I come from a farming life here in Missouri.... Take care my friend.

@@hulmestanner True farmers aren't toxic. TRUE farmers respect the legacy that's been given to them over the years and respect that legacy. TRUE farmers are always willing to drop everything to go and help a neighbor in need. The Larsons are true farmers and I sincerely believe that most of the farmers on here also share those qualities. @@hulmestanner I've read a lot of those comments that you mention and if you look closely at the number of " mistakes " the posters make in their rants, you can tell they aren't farmers because they know nothing about the industry. We live within 35 miles of a large city and I see the anti-farm fanatics that think we shouldn't raise beef ( but they go to McDonald's everyday), think we shouldn't milk because " it's degrading for the cows ", or think we shouldn't use chemicals or GMO's to increase production but gripe whenever their favorite food is out of stock at the store. I used to just laugh off their blind stupidity, but as I'm approaching my late 20's , I find myself actually calling them out for the morons they are.
I've never taken any of your content as bragging or dismissive of that of others in the business. It's ONE VIEW of ONE PLACE and what's involved, and it's highly educational for everyone to see what's going on day-to-day... None of you come across as braggadocios at all. And for anyone out there thinking they're being minimized for your own efforts, just know IT AIN'T SO... we respect all your best efforts and feel for the challenges you take on...
Right it's crazy that people would say that they are bragging about their long hours and that they're working so hard and so much when in reality they're just showing how hard Farmers across the world have it. Any farmer that takes offense to it is probably a half-assed lazy farmer

chet i am a 16 year old farmer from southern Iowa we all had hard conditions this spring it is crazy that me and my dads 4k acre operation is crazy busy couldn't imagine you guys thanks for putting food on tables and i worked some late nights during school till mid night you are working even harder and i really look up to you guys thanks
It goes without saying that your entire family is in our prayers for all you have been through this year with the horrible storms. I've only been through one tornado as a young kid but I remember the shock of coming out the next morning to see 3/4 of our farm buildings leveled and the grain dryer completely destroyed. I thought we would never recover but thanks to a wonderful insurance agent who also was a farmer and a great network of neighbors that helped each other whenever needed, we were up and running back to normal within 6 months. I know you folks can do it too because you are the epitome of what a farm family is. You have a great support system and team members like Brody and Eric that will always have your back. Hang in there and we will keep you in our prayers .

As I watched this video, tears kept falling from my eyes. As much as tears came from my eyes, admiration burst from my heart. To see your family (Eric and Brodie included) rise and continue on, bespeaks the depth of character and goodness of all of you.

I heard this once. You reminded me with your "I can sleep." A farmer was interviewing a farm hand, and the farm hand had a letter of recommendation from his former employer. All the letter said was "he sleeps through the storms." Puzzling, but the farmer felt the guy could do the job so he hired him. A few weeks later, the farmer was delayed in town, and wouldn't get home until late. He plowed through a huge storm, and worried that the farm hand wouldn't know what to do. He stopped at the hand's house and couldn't wake him up. Angered, the farmer got home and started checking all the things that needed to be done to prepare for and weather the storm. The doors to the barn were barred, the animals inside and fed, all the equipment was put away and safe. It was then he realized what the former employer was telling him. That he too could sleep in a storm knowing that the work had been done and nothing that could be done was left undone.
EXCELLENT story! AND so true when it comes to an outstanding farmer and the farmer's helpers!! 🚜 God Bless All Of Our Farmers! 🙏 Now go get some sleep!! 💤 😴

Dang guys those were some bad storms. So sorry you had so much damage to the farm. Just glad your family came through it without anyone being hurt. You work so hard to get your crops planted. That's farming, one year drought, the next flood and the next wind damage. You have to love what you are doing to put up with all that.
It's a challenging year, and yet time after time all of the Larson family dig in and keep on - that's what Farmers do. Keep the faith and do the good work and continue to live a good life. We're all in this together.

I’m a Canadian farm man from the sixties small family farm a I knew then that it was a lot of work but your story isn’t about you although it is but I believe by watching you it speaks to all farmers the back bone of our country I now live on the Saskatchewan prairies and they farm here pretty hard to my respect has increased 100 fold God bless the farmers

Unbelievable, just pure devastation! It seems since covid started it's been one thing after another! The world has gone to hell in a handbasket as my elders would say! All we can do is continue praying, staying vigilant and being appreciative of all we have! While ya'll are getting wild weather here in SE GA we're experiencing record heat and humidity! We're praying for all the farmers who are working so hard and dealing with so much! God Bless!!!
