I have one of these, and it sounds amazing. I have my controls set up quite a bit different than what they have here, my preference, I guess. I go through the normal input almost all the time Strat, tele, or LP. The clean channel sounds great and the overdrive channel is really satisfying going straight in without any pedal. Mine is 50 watts but you really can get a great tone at home levels. I prefer it to my 66 Pro Reverb and hand wire deluxe reverb, and I've a/b'd them for over a year.
Ah yes. The ideal $4000 recreation boutique 22 watt amp to use while playing your new $50,000 Gibson Jimmpy Page double neck. Makes about as much sense as believing overpaying for this is going to make you sound like Robben Ford. I'm starting to hope an economic reckoning comes soon to the firms selling this bogus nostalgia.
I was going to buy an Overdrive Reverb but after he renamed it to the Phoenix Fury I’m out!! Horrible name for a killer amp. Guess I’m back to looking at Two Rocks
OMG Another alleged Dumble clone that no one knows if it sounds anything like a real Dumble unless you've played one yourself. It's 2 channel without independent EQs. Ratio control dials on back is rubbish. You can't foot switch between the Normal and FET inputs. Can't footswitch the Jazz-Rock settings. The 22w head is absurdly big and heavy. There's no power scaling. Open back cabs don't project sound well at all. There is apparently a footswitch but there's no pics or info of it on any website. And they want $4000 for a 22w head. $4500 for 100w. It probably sounds good but you can't tell on TH-cam.
Actually, he has the blue prints to Dumble amps because he reverse engineerined them. So, it is a Dumble, but you are not getting the full Dumble experience because it is not designed specifically for you. But a flat out Dumble.
A Rolls-Royce can be called "way overpriced" too, but sometimes there's just something about how it drives! Some things need to be experienced to be understood.
US made hand-wired D-style amps tend to be in that price range. It's cheaper than Two Rock anyway. For that money, I'd at least expect the parts used to be tested within 5% tolerance, so it sounds as intended. Kinda' surprised to see cheap JJ power tubes in amps like this, and I assume the preamp tubes are those buzzy ECC83S. There are definitely better current production options that wouldn't substantially increase the price.
People spend 2k on coffee a year and 2k on cell phones. You have to differentiate between cost and perceived value. Secondly, you can engineer an amp around affordable tubes. Lastly, I heard a welagen over drive reverb that blew me away😊

Wow a bunch of haters here for sure. I picked one up used for $3,200 and it’s truly a fantastic amp 😊
I never buy nuthin new. Congrats. Seems like a cool amp.
5 grand; that’s just ridiculous. This dev apparently aren’t aware that there is almost infinite competition out there.
name them then
would have been nice if they had gone threw the different settings with the guy playing them.
ahhh, whats that font called... futura? next amp please put comic sans for real style.
I love the sound!!
Mitch, you should do a hair conditioner commercial, you hair are awesome!!!! Fluffy and shimmering😂
Splendid
Nice and pretty $$$$
I have an AN amp. Buy one and you’ll thank yourself
Ditto!!
OUCH $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Santana vibes
Rich persons amp
Now called the Phoenix Fury? Rather than being confused for a Dumble, it’ll be confused for a stripper or a WNBA franchise.
😂😂
Is he improvising or is there an actual song of his play?

WAY OVERPRICED
Don’t say that until you’ve tried one.

Even more than my Friedman, and it definitely doesn't sound better. Sounds good, but not thousands more. Friedman is already big boutique bucks.

Sonic snake oil.
That lawyers sons amp! That dentist office amp , that doctors amp..! Sounds great but I'd rather have a quilter Steelair
No you wouldn’t.
@@picktheblueone 😄 🤣 maybe not! But I'll take both !! No doubt these amps are unbelievable!!
Sweetwater really dropped the ball not getting someone to play through this who could do it justice. The playing is pretty pedestrian.
That's RJ! Maybe not his best licks, but he's a phenomenal player.
@@Bairov Agree. Don't throw shade on RJ. He is a phenomenal player.
$4,500?!? 😅 OMG.
