And to tell you the truth, if she DID keep up this kind of sound in the future for a bid at country radio, it may raise some purists' hackles, but she'd outclass most of the people there.
I was listening to Silence You and she was hitting notes even Whitney Houston couldn't hit with that amplitude. Toss in her good writing and that she's doing this part-time now and she'll be frightening in a few years. Can't wait for The Goldbergs to end. They're keeping her music from us!

I grew up in a small town in Wyoming during the age of AM radio music only. No satellite stations no FM stations and only producers who let us play what we wanted on the radio. Hailey Orrantia would have been at the top of my play list. What's it going to take to have this talented and beautiful young lady to be played in the mainstream?
