- I go over my Marincess list which I was able to pilot to a Top 8 finish this past weekend at the Shreveport, LA Regional! Its a deck I am known for quite a bit as I used to be "MarincessTierGaming" and a deck I really wanted to finally go and get a top with. Hope you enjoy!

I like this deck alot and it's alot of fun
You think barrier stature of torrent is playable in this deck?
I personally still love playing Crossout in the deck, screw the Nib attempts ;p Still great deckprofile tho! Love your take on it.
If the meta progressed to playing even more hand traps I would consider it as well.
It's something I have played in the past so it's always an option to return to if the format calls for it.
Can you explain why you think nibiru is really good to main deck this format ?
I don’t have your experience but on what I have seen so far :
When I see Kash builds with adventure or iblee nibiru does not look so great.
Also against branded if you use nibiru it will trigger the Grand Guignol effect to summon another fusion so Expulsion will still be alive :/
So nibiru doesn’t do anything against their win condition.
Last I think I already comment it on one of your videos but I strongly advise to try the trap White Howling in side ! With Argonaut negate it is just anti spell 😊
Well many Kash builds are pure, and while the other variants and iblee exists... you still have to run something to keep them off of full combo whoch is simply an FTK. Nibiru does this.
Vs branded it stops some of their larger board lines as well, but nibiru isn't known for being super amazing into branded, just ok.
It's great vs a lot of matchups like swordsoul and other rogue decks.
Nibiru is just overall one of the highest impact hand traps.
Not saying it's a perfect catch all every time. But is definitely worth the main deck slots.
Another Level 4 Water extender you can look into is Minairuka. I think it has a better secondary effect than Sea Nettle but its not an Aqua for Toad, unfortunately.
I think that minairuka is a cool ish option to try out.
However, I do think sea nettle is just overall a bit better.
The grave effect to shuffle back your extra deck pieces is amazing.
Really loved the main deck and the side (even if i still prefer evenly over gamaciel) my question is... Where the splash mage? Can a single pascalus be combo without It??
So splash mage enables a different combo line.
If you run splash mage, any marincess (pascalus and basil) can be a bubble reef. But you don't get wave.
I choose to not run splash mage so I can run the very important cards and play around kashtira. However, my pascalus and basil end on a triangle and wave in hand.
So you can either get a bubble reef with no wave and no triangle in grave.
Or you can get wave and a triangle in grave but no link 4
I prefer the latter and splash mage was a cut I had to make for the current format.
I want to know what brand or kind of sheeves you use to protect the inside sheeve?

I always pick mandarin over basiliama. And sleepy maiden I dunno why no one ever talks about her ability to protect a marincess card while she is on field. I have had her save my battle ocean multiple times. Then again I am pro crystal heart.
Sleepy maidens effect almost never comes up for me in the current format.
However, when ghost ogre is popular I love to be able to summon anemone and then special maiden to protect her from ogre.
I don't want to play Mandarin over basilalima, but I do want to find space for her in general.
She's level 5. I've been in too many situations with only her as a Marincess card in my hand. Although, I'm talking about Master Duel, where you automatically lose 9 slots to Maxx C.
Level five can be dead if you’re in the one marincess scenario, dead

I was a little surprised I didn't play any.
They were in the room. However, many of them got kinda waxed by how prepared people were for it and I believe we only had one in the top 8.
Labrynth also got the boot at our regional, and even though they were in the room, I believe none made it into the top 8.
Do you make toad in matchups where they could play lava golem?
I guess it depends on my hand and what I'm playing against.
Often times I will keep lava golem in mind. But like, branded may play lava golem, but it's still worth it to me to make toad and argonaut.
However, into labrynth, maybe I don't.
What do you think about marincess adventure token? I’ve been testing it and it fixes a lot of the issues marincess have, like nor being so ns reliant or been safe from nib or otk faster
I have seen some people gravitate towards this.
Personally I have never been a fan because it stops you from using triangle and it's such a large engine to squeeze in.
But I don't think it's bad per se
Definitely an option.
@@TopTierGamingYGO yes its true it stops you from using triangle, but the adv engine in itself its recovery in itself with faithfull, i think both pure and adv have their benefits
Thoughts on Kurikara over Nib?
I prefer nibiru. But kurikara is a good card.
Do u think this deck is better than mathmech?
Probably not. But they are somewhat comparable
Hows the laby matchup?
I would say it's ok.
Post side with ash and Belle and cosmics it's pretty nice.
Basil in the main deck also helps with punishment and lovely pops.
If you don't draw outs against them tho and it's engine to engine it will definitely be a bit rough especially going second.

when it comes to thrust , i think it could be good in marincess if you run monster reborn with it , if you get nibbed you just revive back your link 4
Are you gonna do any test hand videos to show off that zealantis POWAH!? I know there's combo videos already but you go pretty in depth with things and it's another reason I love your videos.

Thoughts on Tenyi Spirit - Shthana? Its a water level-4 special summon that allows a body on an empty board without requiring a normal summon. Obviously the upside with Sea Nettle is way higher, but it feels like the floor with Shthana helps a ton.

meeen im building a marincess deck too right now bcz next month im gonna play for the first time a regional tournament in my country ( im from Argentina) and im so excited, i returned to the game not long ago i dropped like 3 years, i still have my old dino deck that i love anyways hahaha keep up the good work and thxs for the video¡¡¡¡

Hey, I just finished watching your profile a bit ago and was looking through some bulk and found a card called "Ice Knight". It's a level 4 Aqua Water from Brothers of Legend that allows you to get another Water normal summon that turn but locks you into waters. You mentioned that you wanted more extenders to make Toad early and maybe this can be a card to try out? 🤔Also always love your content

Do you think there is any room for Splash Mage in the extra? Sometimes I find myself only having like 1 pasc in hand as a name and it at least gets to bubble reef.
I'd definitely find room for at least 1 splash mage

My list is similar to yours although I prefer Mandarin to Basiliama. Will have to try her out and see how she preforms.
I now want to run both and it no longer feels like one or the other to me.
They are both good and I think both would be nice.

I did not, but it's always a possibility

Test around with both and see which one you like more
Are those magic size over sleeves and did you use those at regionals? Just curious. Someone at locals said the judges might not like that since they aren’t a perfect fit.
I've never had any problems with my sleeves and I have gotten deck checked 4 or 5 times with the amount of regionals I go to haha. Never met a judge that even mentioned them.
They are clear standard size sleeves.

what are your opinions on abyss shark and the silent angler package for extension and rank 4 plays
During the profile when I am talking about sea nettle, I give a long discussion of what I think of abyss shark vs nettle etc if you want to hear it : )

In all seriousness the best cards that day were spring and zealantis. But every card came up pretty goated at one point
Great profile and theory . I personally don’t like the rank 4 build. Can I ask how was talents? I feel like in marincess its subpar since the only real extender is spring girl. Did you use it to rip one after getting nibbed? Or was the idea after getting nibbed to draw 2 and hope ton draw non engine for the crackback?
Talents was used for both depending on my hand tbh.
Talents was solid all event and the take effect going second was also incredible.
Book of eclipse is bad against kashtira, all your spelll zones get locked b4 u can play
They don't always go for that line.
Book of eclipse is for normal 3 zone lock combo, or if they went for monster zones.
It's also however good even if there only play was arise heart.
Overall good vs kash
