To keep it short, I bricked by going to 19 and decided to reload a backup copy I had onto a larger SD card (I'd wanted to upgrade my storage anyway), but I think you're right that it apparently didn't copy the emummc correctly. I followed all your steps until I got the error, then decided to go back to my original SD card. For some reason, it works again, so your video worked for a reason I don't quite understand. It's wild. The system version says 18 and my CFW all works as normal (minus going back to atmosphere version 1.7). But now I get the blue screen of death if I ever try to load the stock app which isn't the end of the world. I'm wondering if upgrading my Atmosphere back to 1.8 will make it work again, but part of me is like "just leave it alone, Mikel, don't push your luck"
Yea copying over emummc isn't such an easy task . I don't like using emummc but that I know of there's a way to migrate it properly. Copying over isn't enough. I would start over in my opinion. But yea thats most likely the problem. your files not working. If you can get back to hekate. Deleting the atmosphere and bootloader folder then extracting my latest pack should help . But whatever you decided good luck

I think this is a very good and well made video. Although I followed all the steps (Aleast I think I did) it did see promising, but now it's still on 19.0.0 somehow. Hi I have an unpatched switch that isn't modded. I want to check what nintendo firmware is currently on it but when I go to system settings it doesn't tell me the current firmware on it, it just says "system update System is ready to update" I don't want to update it as it'll automatically update to 1. 9 How can I find out what version of firmware is currently on the console? Whatsbthe other error ? Program error? . Also 19.0.1 has full support probably best update and fix it . But your issue with your games most likely didn't delete your atmosphere and bootloader folder first and then extract my pack.
OK try to use 7zip like I do on my video . Download my (theotherside ams 171 and theotherside hekate 6.2.0) then on your sd delete atmosphere and bootloader. After use 7zip to extract to the SD card . After that then extract and replace the ams 18.0 1900 files.

You will most likely have to wait till there's support . If you want to try . Do the steps in this video . Download my packs of amazing 171 and hekate 6.2.0. In the description and then delete your atmosphere and bootloader folder. Thenextract my pack . After you extract the ams 1900 support .
I downgraded, didn't exactly do what this video showed but it helped me with a little bit of insight. I can now play games. I learned my lesson and will have my switch in airplane mode from now on.

Yes this can help. However it only works woth cfw . You can play online or try original os . Only cfw with os or emummc . But there is support for 19.0.1 already is there a reason why you want to downgrade?

It's crazy that such a process needs to exist. But I've seen people online say they decided to finally upgrade to 18.1.0 and didn't realize 19.0.0 had come out. The next game I'm looking forward to is 'Mario & Luigi: Brothership'. Hopefully it won't require 19.0.0, or I'm guessing atmosphere and hekate will be updated by then.
Honestly I don't no. Umm your technically not supposed to downgrade so it makes sense that a ban could happen. I have never heard of anyone getting band for downgrading tho.

Same thing happens to me. I get a black screen after the switch logo. Using all the right packs and following the video exactly. I'm on an OLED mod chipped switch.

I must of screw something up put all the files that need try the step to make tegrarcm doesn't detect only charge the switch when connects in Rcm mode and turn back on when connected. but got it detect when load up atmosphere it only stays in a yellow screen any fix?
Yellow screen is usually a hekate issue. You can use my pack from downloads links . And delete your hekate and add mine. Actually add bother packs of (theotherside ams 1.7.1 and hekate 6.2.0)

If I use the fusee.bin included with the ams zip, it says unable to identify package1, but if i use the fusee.bin that is the 3rd link in the description(mediafire link) then it flashes atmosphere once, and turns off.
There's support for 19.0.1 now. Check my newest video . If you want to stay downgraded then you gotta make sure you delete atmosphere and bootloader folder then extract my files
I've had yellow screen before but it's been a hot minute. I think it might be that you have a custom background on your Switch home screen that the update doesn't like, search tutorials on what file to delete from your sd card and you should be good. a quick google search of whatever error code it gives (If it does give one) should yield good results. Hi mate, if i follow your steps, and try to launch the cfw (sysnand) i get the error: Unknown pk91 version. Hos version not supported. If i start atmosphere directly throw the fusee.bin payload, the EmuMMC loads. But in the EmuMMC you should not continue with downgrading the firmware right?

I heard that you cannot boot up your switch regularly after downgrading. Booting using switch fw will result in a bricked switch. So you have to use AUTO rcm to prevent the switch from booting without the CFW. Is that right?
You don't need auto rcm I actually think using auto rcm is what's causing this issue . But it's not a brick . I guess technically considered semi brick . But still works. Just don't use ofw . Would be the safest
Im getting A fatal error Unable to identify package1! when launching. Also the order of upacking zip files is a bit confusing to me - anyone able to help/describe step by step the zip order?
In the video i mention a step order .ill write it here. 1 You would need to download my packs (the other side ams 1.7.1 and the otherside hekate 6.2.0 zips in description) 2 then you delete your atmosphere and bootloader folder. 3 Then you extract (theotherside zips) 4 last you extract atmosphere 1.8.0 1900 support . That's it. You should be good .
Downgraded from 19.0. Everything works, but when I try and run ofw the screen goes black. I believe it’s on so I held the volume +&- and power for 30 seconds and it will power off to let me get into rcm mode. Cfw works. Ofw doesn’t. Could be a fusee mismatch from what I researched, which I don’t understand. I’m very new to this. If I get into semi stock cfw it will let me download the latest firmware 19.0 from Nintendo. My switch is already banned so I don’t care. After updating again to 19.0 ofw seems to work. I downgraded back to 18.1.0 so I can play my games. I’m assuming once the new atmosphere and stuff comes out ofw will start booting again. Or am I missing something??
Yes it's a mis match . With fusee . Technically your not supposed to be able to downgrade. Especially if you have never downgrade before or if you were never on the previous firmware . It should work just fine after atmosphere is updated and get back to normal.

No you probably don't have my pack extracted properly. My pack i mention in the video (theotherside ams 1.7.1 and hekate 6.2.0) have the files needed to run hbmenu. You need to extract those first then extract the 19.0.0 support ams 1.8.0

Launch into Sysand and get in just fine, I checked in settings and see Ver. 19.0.0|AMS 1.8.0|S. Am I maybe missing something else for hbmenu? All I have on my SD is your linked files?
Yep. Tried this one and it works. The problem is the Album or tha Hbmenu not working and got atmosphere error code. Do you have specific file for HBmenu to run so that i can downgrade.

Yea this is because there is no warm boot. So you can only access sysnand with cfw or with emummc. In order to use original ofw you have to update

I dont use themes. But that's why I say delete the atmosphere folder . It helps remove the theme. But thank you ill try to remember this

Stop using it because that causes your switch to corrupt their files every time you force the restart cause of that
You will break your switch if you continue playing with that error

@@kagumii-2040 Delete everything inside the 'Contents' folder, but keep the folder itself. This resolved the issue for me.
it worked but my savedata/savefiles are on the other sysnand (CFW Fss0sysnand) and I can't open that specific sysnand. Am I doing it wrong?I can only open the Atmosphere(CFW SYSAND) and (emuMMC)

@@smart21j What I did to solve it was open up the switch, disconnect the battery, wait 20 seconds and then it turned on
whenever I inject fusee.bin (the new one you provided in the description) it flashes atmosphere and then turns back off and goes into rcm mode.
Extracting didn't work try again. Did you also extract my cfw pack

I must of screw something up put all the files that need try the step to make tegrarcm doesn't detect only charge the switch when connects in Rcm mode and turn back on when connected.
but got it detect when load up atmosphere it only stays in a yellow screen any fix?
Yellow screen is usually a hekate issue. You can use my pack from downloads links . And delete your hekate and add mine. Actually add bother packs of (theotherside ams 1.7.1 and hekate 6.2.0)

@@eradicatinglove Error Code: 2168-0002 (0x4a8). Under there it just says "An error has occurred".
If I use the fusee.bin included with the ams zip, it says unable to identify package1, but if i use the fusee.bin that is the 3rd link in the description(mediafire link) then it flashes atmosphere once, and turns off.

There's support for 19.0.1 now. Check my newest video . If you want to stay downgraded then you gotta make sure you delete atmosphere and bootloader folder then extract my files

I've had yellow screen before but it's been a hot minute. I think it might be that you have a custom background on your Switch home screen that the update doesn't like, search tutorials on what file to delete from your sd card and you should be good. a quick google search of whatever error code it gives (If it does give one) should yield good results. Good luck.
Deleting atmosphere helps . Also deleting atmosphere and bootloader folder then extracting mine helps .

Hi mate, if i follow your steps, and try to launch the cfw (sysnand) i get the error: Unknown pk91 version. Hos version not supported. If i start atmosphere directly throw the fusee.bin payload, the EmuMMC loads. But in the EmuMMC you should not continue with downgrading the firmware right?

I heard that you cannot boot up your switch regularly after downgrading. Booting using switch fw will result in a bricked switch. So you have to use AUTO rcm to prevent the switch from booting without the CFW. Is that right?
You don't need auto rcm I actually think using auto rcm is what's causing this issue . But it's not a brick . I guess technically considered semi brick . But still works. Just don't use ofw . Would be the safest

In the video i mention a step order .ill write it here. 1 You would need to download my packs (the other side ams 1.7.1 and the otherside hekate 6.2.0 zips in description) 2 then you delete your atmosphere and bootloader folder. 3 Then you extract (theotherside zips) 4 last you extract atmosphere 1.8.0 1900 support . That's it. You should be good .
I’m done downgrading. But I get black screen when boot to OFW. Is it normal?
Downgraded from 19.0. Everything works, but when I try and run ofw the screen goes black. I believe it’s on so I held the volume +&- and power for 30 seconds and it will power off to let me get into rcm mode. Cfw works. Ofw doesn’t. Could be a fusee mismatch from what I researched, which I don’t understand. I’m very new to this. If I get into semi stock cfw it will let me download the latest firmware 19.0 from Nintendo. My switch is already banned so I don’t care. After updating again to 19.0 ofw seems to work. I downgraded back to 18.1.0 so I can play my games. I’m assuming once the new atmosphere and stuff comes out ofw will start booting again. Or am I missing something??

Yes it's a mis match . With fusee . Technically your not supposed to be able to downgrade. Especially if you have never downgrade before or if you were never on the previous firmware . It should work just fine after atmosphere is updated and get back to normal.
Thanks for your reply! So once the new hats pack comes out it’s as simple as drag and drop and replace the files? Update with daybreak or whatever and it’ll work just fine? Cfw and ofw will boot as normal?

Having this same issue. I'm new to this, but hekate released 6.2.1 earlier today (10/12/2024) so maybe that's affecting it?
No you probably don't have my pack extracted properly. My pack i mention in the video (theotherside ams 1.7.1 and hekate 6.2.0) have the files needed to run hbmenu. You need to extract those first then extract the 19.0.0 support ams 1.8.0
@@eradicatinglove I removed my existing hekate and ams files, and added yours (theotherside ams 1.7.1 and hekate 6.2.0). Then follow the video for the 19.0.0 support, fusee, and aio switch. Launch into Sysand and get in just fine, I checked in settings and see Ver. 19.0.0|AMS 1.8.0|S. Am I maybe missing something else for hbmenu? All I have on my SD is your linked files?

Yep. Tried this one and it works. The problem is the Album or tha Hbmenu not working and got atmosphere error code. Do you have specific file for HBmenu to run so that i can downgrade.

Not bricked. You just need to update back to 19.0.0 and it will work .

do you know if after logging to the web on sysCFW I might be flagged by Nintendo? I did not run any games (just this AiO updater) but my menu looked exactly the same I have on emuMMC with games etc.
