I would assume it would depend on what its made of.
Thanks for your interest, here I use a little washing up liquid mixed with water and the molds before pouring the cement sand mixture, this makes it easier to take the flower pots out when they harden.

Does the fountain run at that speed and volume constantly? Maybe a low flow occasionally would be better and some bottom medium like small pebbles they can settle into. Cool project.
