So, What did I think? Classic film review- The Longest Day

With the eightieth anniversary of D-DAY, now is the perfect time to re-watch one of the truly great war movies of the 20th century. A film that has replaced in the public zeitgeist by Saving Private Ryan when it comes to D-Day but in my opinion is still the definitive film chronicle of the events that occurred on the 6th of June 1944 that echo through the decades that follow.
