Lol! I really didn't "need" this cold brew coffee maker but I love the glass jar, stainless steel filter basket, and that both end caps are removable. Looks like a very nice kit. I love making cold brew. The kit I have is very similar, but the fine meshed filter fits into a 2 quart mason jar. I love it because I can make enough cold brew concentrate for a week's worth of coffee. I pour the resulting concentrate into a glass pitcher with the amount of water or ice to get the coffee strength I want. When I want a cup of coffee, I drink it cold or put a cupful in the microwave to heat up while I'm doing other things. So much better for me than brewing bitter coffee. That travel kit would be great for me, when I want to try a different kind of coffee before committing to a whole pitcher. Just make it the day before and wake up to a different taste. Like you, I like the glass jar. I have a stainless steel travel mug I've had for years. I love it because I don't have to choose a different mug for hot or cold coffee/tea. It's a bit banged up from being dropped often. I love my cold brew kit so much that I bought another one just for tea. I drink a lot of tea and coffee in the summer. I have to go see your other video to see how your brew turned out.
It is a very nice kit, so far I like it quite a bit. :) I agree about the sediment, it's pretty impossible to avoid altogether but this unit produced very little of it and it is so fine, I don't even notice it when drinking the coffee it made. It fits in the fridge a lot easier too compared to my huge, 12 cup French press, which has to have the plunger up all the way during the brewing. It takes up a ton of space vertically! Even if I brew it on the counter top, it just barely fits under my cabinets! Now that I've made my first brew in this, I'll make some minor adjustments like, adding just a little bit more coffee grounds to the filter as well as a little bit more water. All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase. :)
Yes, this is a very nice brewer. It is small, great for travel/camping. The glass is fairly sturdy, not like Pyrex but not thin like borosilicate either, and it comes with the neoprene sleeve that keeps it cold longer and protects the glass somewhat. I also love that it opens on both ends. Thanks for watching! :)

That's strange that yours didn't have any seals. Mine has them on both openings. Did you return it for a refund or exchange?
