The UNI filters are a foam type whereas K&N are clothe media type material wrapped in thin expanded metal to retain shape and keep the material together. Some feel the UNIs filter better and are easier to clean.
Im gonna get a uni for my 19 Yfz450r wow the stock filter is so bad and the yfz”s are known for bogging and stuff so i should give this a try. I dont know for sure if it will stop bogging but at least it will help the air flow
i live in florida and want to install this on my 150cc scooter but it will be very exposed to the elements. does proper oiling ensure safe riding in the rain or will the water still penetrate?
They both work well. The UNI is best for any contact with Water as you can squeeze it out and re-oil If the traditional K&N gets wet and absorbs water its a long process go get you back on the road. They are both serviceable and they both last a long time while improving airflow over stock. -- Kyle & the Chap Moto Team
do you put oil on the 2 pieces of the uni air filter?? oil on the yellow AND oil on the red?? or just the red??
The entire filter gets oiled. Check out this How To video: th-cam.com/video/yLKi11yq2QQ/w-d-xo.html
For a Dragtron ll air filter, what is the difference between the Green and Dark Gray foam ?
What's the difference between this and k&n if you still have to oil them.

Chaparral Motorsports will do! Just Ordered odi lock ons once i get settled in with that ill round up some $ for the uni
Can someone educate me if I would get a uni air filter would it preform better would it make my bike faster?
Hi, it's not going to directly make your bike noticeably faster.
How long do you leave it to dry once you’ve oiled the air filter ??
A light spraying is all it takes and it's good to go.
Only filter that I run on my KTM 1190R and 950 Adventure.
Nice bike choices! I just installed the UNI on my 2016 KTM 1190 Adv R and have had one in my 2009 KTM 950 Super Enduro for years... Good stuff! - Kyle
Foam is the best filter for anything
Agreed! Thank you for watching!
Hi, which uni filter is for the cfmoto gladiator x1000 2022 🤔
Sorry not sure. We do not sell CFMoto
Are these filters good for yamaha aerox 155?
Don't know if they have a match for that.
Looking for the part number for a uforce 1000
Hello, sorry we do not sell that brand so we do not know what the air filter for that unit would be.

Water can still penetrate, though oiling does help a bit. There are covers you can find as well if you are concerned.
@@chaparralmotorsports i'll look into those. thanks!
So what makes these UNI filters better than UniFilter from Australia?
Nothing . Uni filter is Aussie owned and operated company. Well ahead of any other filter
Can some one tell me simply which is best for my 125 pit bike a k&n or a uni and why... please! It’s hard to find a simple description on both ?

I’m new to these filters and I ordered one for my raptor 660 and it’s fits too small
Hello, are you sure you got the correct filter?
@@chaparralmotorsports yeah I’m not really sure what to do
Don’t take your side by side in for any warranty work with this filter on it. They will make notes and bye bye to your warranty.
