Thank you for your review and telling us that you dislike these pencils for adult colouring. The thing is: me too. I am a great Faber-Castell fan, I have a 50 pencil box brought from Brazil, but I never pick them to use, because it is too soft, it goes away in a minute, sharpening all the time, I don't have patience for that. I hope Faber-Castell does not replace this super soft for the classic ones, these are my favourite for most colourings. (I also have the Polychromos but these are used sparingly.)
I wanted these pencil with the round barrel. Couldn’t find it anywhere here online in Europe. I searched long and hard and occasionally it would come up on Amazon Japan……for around $170/100 set! Yes, but I didn’t want them so badly. I eventually gave up and left it up to serendipity! They came to me just like that, in fact 2 sets. So excited to try then out. I have a few triangular barrels they feel like the Posca. The Posca feels drier though.
I also don't like them for straight colouring , but I do use them to colour black lines as they are pretty opaque. If I compare all my swatch charts, these stand out as totally not vibrant.
I have the 100 set of these and I like them, yeah they do wear down quickly and they don't layer the best. They are targeted for kids and teens according to the FC website but kids would destroy these very quickly. Younger kids need harder pencils like Crayolas.

They seem alright have the set of 100 nice range of colours.
