Wow!!! That freakin’ awesome cinematography on that Widgeon was sensational! The aircraft perfectly illustrated why it’s called the golden hour. Well done
I’m a enthousiast rc pilot myself and I love flying, but seeing the way these planes fly is pure magic. Great video and superb cinematography. Thanks for sharing.
THANKS for the great coverage of an awesome event! The superb selection of different airplanes and gliders! SUPER Interesting! And all topped off by a 1:1 DR1!
Especially fun to have some aircraft types I didn't know of & some I'd not heard of since the 1970s when Dad would give me his aircraft magazines after he'd read them a couple times.
Wow, amazing hobby, constantly having a smile on my face looking at this, thanks for sharing,i will definitely look into this,God bless from the Netherlands
Your videos are awesome!!! Never tire of watching these beautiful models fly. Have you ever thought of getting someone to shoot air drone photography of planes? ??
Thx. My son filmed with a drone a few years ago, but truthfully it adds another level of complexity that at this point, gets in the way of flying. Still, I know it could be fun. I've added mini-cams to a few of my larger models, which has given us some fantastic views.
Absolutely beautiful film. A great touch to get the Driedecker in there at the end, v nice stills by the lady. Loads of great planes in this, but my fave of this lot has to be the Babcock, although from Tom I'm also v taken with the Boeing Delta.. It seems that these relatively chunky fuselage profiles do well in the 'presence in the air' stakes, in the medium.. Many outstanding people in this. Thanks Tom! ⭐👍
Amazing stuff!! Great photography as well. Half a lifetime ago I used to fly with the original FAC club in Connecticut. The models were very good then, but the "craft" has advanced a lot in 40 years.
Thx. They're still flying, so u should reach out to them via the club lists at the FAC website, listed in the film description.I'm sure they'd enjoy hearing from you.
Hi Max, One of my two middle names is Maximillian. I fly full sized gliders and R.C. Yup, I can’t give up being a pilot and controlling my airplanes but I watch a lot of your flying. I’m eighty-five now and many of my flying buddies are gone. I don’t have a car but I love watching your videos. My first flying buddy is still okay but cataracts prevent even model flying for now. Surgery can help. I did solo power but the future of most ASEL (aircraft single engine land) pilots is chasing the hundred dollar hamburger. As, let’s fly to,Albany and get a hamburger. They have no place to go so they have lunch an hour away. As a glider pilot I never chase the hundred dollar hamburger. Like you, I chase thermals but instead of looking up, I look down.
That's great, Pete. Thx for relating some of ur flying history. Glad u enjoy the channel, and good to hear that ur still getting up into the blue. Ever since I was a kid, I tended to get 'air sickness" when I flew in small aircraft with my dad and his friends, so I'm much better flying with my feet on the ground, chasing calm air, thermals, and the majestic sky & light. Cheers.
Gotta love a Grumman amphib, because, hey, Grumman amphib! 😁 All the planes looked grand, and at their grandest doing their natural-born free flight life.
Nicely done Professor as usual. How about make a rubber powered model that looks exactly like a American Bald Eagle like 55" span so not quite full size?
Another masterpiece! It's just nice to follow a flight from launch to landing and to have such lovely music to accompany it all... What was that backwards flying plane? It was bizarre, closely followed by the push me pull me one. Both by the same maker I suspect.
Thx for asking. Here's the link at the Flying Aces Club website that lists the clubs. flyingacesclub.com/wp/about-the-fac/fac-squadrons/ If you click on the map at the area closest to you, it will automatically bring up an information request link. That request goes to FAC GHQ (Rick Pendzick) and also to the Squadron Commander of record for that squadron.
Thank you for taking us along to see the models at Geneseo. Without you and what you do, I would never be able to see anything like this. I really appreciate your efforts.🥸
WOW!!
Many MANY Thanks!!
Fantastic video, I just loved it.
Tom your videos are the best!
hujjjhduhfsudhsiufhei
Your videos always make me happy.
There seems to be an inherent joy in stick and tissue rubber power free flight.
Wonderful. Thanks Tom
Incredible photography...beautiful models! Thanks!

All the model airplanes are beautiful! Sky is clear and high! It is true golden hours! I always enjoy your videos. Thank you very much!
Would that I could give more than one like, as in one for each aircraft including the still photographs! Excellent!
brings a BIG smile to my face… thanks!
Stunning designs, stunning workmanship, stunning photography. What a joy to watch.
Awesome video
Really enjoy your vids, something so tranquil about the building and flying, even the music is so apt. Thanks for posting, and please keep posting!
This looks like such a good time.
Perfect soundtrack
It's good to see rubber powered scale models flying gracefully without porpoising in calm morning air.

Just fabulous.
Noel
Thx, Noel.
Hey, Tom.
I put this video on my playlist so I can savor it. That's how confident I am in your abilities.
Looking forward.
Most wonderful I have seen this week!

So well done and those clouds are such a beautiful back drop. Thank you Tom and crew 💫
Fantastic planes. Love 'em.
Beautiful work 😊
A super showing 🎉
There is something very special about this particular endeavor. It truly is more than the sum of it's parts.
It is always so great to see the tremendous skill and craftsmanship in building these stick and tissue creations.
Your video and Karin's photographs are just amazing. Thanks for shooting and sharing.
Thx. It was great having Karin capture so much of the action.
Wow!

Great video. Wish you had video for that mass launch. That woulda been cool, seeing that many fly at once.
That Grumman Widgeon is my all time favorite, I saw the plans in an old Flying models magazine, maybe 1993. This one flies so elegant. Great!

What is that music?
I've added the music in order, up in the film description.
Another masterpiece!

Do any body know of a club around Charlotte NC
