Ron, I have been a subscriber for years, comment frequently and tell others about your channel. That's my contribution to RTNT. A paid membership Is a bridge too far!
ConGrats Ron on the early retirement :) I did so myself last October. I have been busier now than I was before lol I hope you get to relax and continue with more of your Model Railroading Future! It is a great pastime, and I enjoy watching your videos very much until I can get back into the Hobby! You already do so much for the rest of us. It is a learning experience of the highest caliber! THANKS!
Ron, Congrats on your retirement. I would add that I have occasionally caught the stream from El Dorado Springs. You are a real blessing. May God bless your retirement.
Congratulations, Ron. I always enjoy your content on here being an avid N scale modeler. I've only just started doing videos. I can't wait for all of your new content.
Congratulations on the upcoming retirement. I'm excited to see more content from your channel. I understand your headache with setting up opperations. I spent an hour today making car cards, and another 2 hours researching and making waybills. Once my layout is up and working, you'll have to come over and help me operate it some time.
Congratulations on your impending retirement. I have just over two years before I retire. The closer it gets the more excited I get. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing more videos.
Good for you and your move to retirement. Sounds like you're going to be busier, and I'm not sure you can call it that, but I'm looking forward to your new adventures.
Congrats on the upcoming retirement! I retired in July, and it’s been amazing. Long vacation with my wife to start with, and lots of time to work on my layout (and post videos).
Congratulations on retirement. Covid retired me in 2020 and life has been wonderful between model railroading, camping and traveling. Enjoy your time away from the salt mines.
Congratulations Ron on your decision to retire early! I’m retiring early one year from now. Good luck on your new ventures too and very excited to see more of your videos Have a great weekend ! Scott
I look forward to learning more about the layout operations because that's always been a confusing part for me, especially when I have more people, so I look forward to learning from you. Good luck on the new adventure too.
Great update, early congrats on early retirement! Always enjoy following your channel. Glad you did the little 'ad' about other merch in your store, just ordered the therapy t-shirt - AWESOME!
Hi Ron , Congratulations on your retirement. Just sitting here tonight watching TH-cam, Hockey and watching it Snow. It’s a first mercurial snow in 1074 days. I’m in north central North Carolina. Sounds like you have big plans for the channel in 2025. I do like the farm scene. Thanks for sharing. Have a good weekend. 😎😎 👍
Enjoy your retirement and your new vocation as a full-time content creator. Looking forward to future videos. Even though my modelling is UK 009 rather than American N gauge, I really enjoy watching your videos.
Congratulations on the pending retirement! I was able to retire early last March 1st and have enjoyed the new life style. I’m excited to see more content from you and I really enjoy both or your channels. Not sure where in MO you are, but if you’re near where the winter storm went through, I hope everyone made it safely. Just a suggestion for a video, what does your workbench look like. Like how you store tools, parts, and whatever. My workbench is a disaster and have been looking for ideas how to organize. Thanks for the great videos and be safe out there.
Congrats on your early retirement! I still have a few years to go. I had a friend that retired and then went back to work because he said he got bored. I asked him if he had a hobby. I will never get bored because I have (according to my ex-wife) too many hobbies!
Funny on how rolling stock keeps accumulating. I think I may now have more of several types of equipment than the railroad I'm modeling ever had, and I'm modeling the SP!
In my case I needed to add more rolling stock to fill the added capacity that came from expanding the layout. I am very happy with the size of the layout and the amount of rolling stock and number of locomotives I have now, if I can just get all of the paperwork done to get it operating.
Hi Ron. Ron here. A friendly warning. Over the years, I’ve noticed that a lot of people that have become full-time YT creators eventually get to a point of “burn out” and find they have to scale back their offerings or, at worst, quit altogether. Some announce that they are scaling back, some just do, and you find yourself wondering “what happened to…?”. So try not to over-commit to the degree that what is a hobby and fun for you now becomes a chore, and takes all the fun out of what you do.
Congratulations on your retirement! Looking at your collections of videos, is there one or a few that shows your layout? I am interested in seeing how the different levels work together. I assume you are using a helix system between them, but I would like to see more of it.
I did a full basement tour including an overview of the layout a few months ago. Here is a link: th-cam.com/video/xB2atQTwWw0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=vHxtvazdWPJGbEpe
I still have a little time before I retire. Operating is something I got tired of. Never felt like I was welcome by other modelers. I will never "operate" again. I might run trains but not operate...
Congratulations on your retirement Ron !!! I retired 1 March 2023, and it is AWESOME !!! Looking forward to the new projects and more content. 👍👍🎉🎊
Congrats to you as well and thank you.

I have no issue with that. It's just there for those who want it.
I recently took early retirement from model railroading but I'm glad you'll be modeling full time!!!! Congrats Ron!
Thanks 👍

I hear you on the ADD for building things and scenes. I get that way. I’ll be attempting to work on my latest build and finish it this week.

Thanks. My experience the past 8 years on TH-cam has prepared me for this I think, but good advice nonetheless. 👍🏻
@@RonsTrainsNThings My tip (FWIW)...don't have anything like a regular day for updates...........just release them when you want.
Congratulations on your retirement! I'm looking forward to more videos!
Thank you so much!

You got that right!
100 days and counting down 👍🏻
Eh, who's counting? 🤣🤣🤣
Congratulations on your retirement!
Thank you!
What? Are you switching scales...or is your channel shutting down
I don't understand the question. I am still in N scale and definitely not shutting down.
I still have a little time before I retire.
Operating is something I got tired of. Never felt like I was welcome by other modelers.
I will never "operate" again. I might run trains but not operate...
I am sorry to hear you were treated poorly. Sadly I hear similar stories from time to time.
Congratulations on your future retirement.
Thank you!
Oh yeah and concerning your retirement, you can truthfully say stick a fork in you, you’re done! Enjoy the days going forward.
Thank you!
