Another chilling set of tales, this time from Portobello and it's environs. Informative? Tick.✔️ Expert storytelling and photography? Tick.✔️ Compulsive viewing? Tick! ✔️ One to especially enjoy in the wee hours. Loved the sound effects too. Most unsettling. Particularly liked the tale of Jane Anderson and the way she's still remembered by folk. Reminds me of a local, mysterious Worcestershire story of "Who put Bella in the Wych Elm?" Women not all together forgotten. Thanks so much for this!
Could you please do something about the FOREGROUND music , on lowest volume in the BACKGROUND where it belongs would be great. Can't hear a word of this otherwise excellent series .
@sheilastewart5387 Greetings Sheila. The audio is unfortunately unable to adjust. Once you upload a video to TH-cam its there as it is. I've not uploaded a feature length story in a couple of years and no longer have the source materials. The sound differs on different devices. If you have a listen with headphones it may be a very different experience. Hope this of some help and many thanks for liking the videos. They were a great deal of fun to make...
I just watched the video you did with Eerie Edinburgh. I jumped right over to you and subscribed without even watching first. I really enjoyed the story you told and am sure that I will continue to enjoy all of your tales. I hope you have a great week. 😃
Brunstane farm is a long distance from the old portobello high school.. not a likely place to play truant.. plus we used to go there for years from the 80s-90s and there was nothing paranormal whatsoever.. the scariest thing was the old dog who's lead was attached to a wire on the wall and could chase you the length of the farm
I’m disappointed! 😂 I was hoping you were going to mention the monk that haunts Kings Road but no mention. Myself and a witness seen him back in 89’ in the grounds of the Lothian bus depot behind the Houses on Kings Road just off the promenade. The quest continues! 😂 He wasn’t good btw, I felt him!!
I would love to hear about this ghostly Monk. Never heard that story before. Drop me a line if you can. j.s.tantalon@outlook.com Or get me on social media👍
That's crazy so my window bedroom window faced the tower and I used to sit at it every night with my cigarettes facing the windows on the tower never saw anything
That poor young woman Jane, the doctor had a lucky escape by dying, unfortunately we'll never know what his fate would have been. I was very interested in all the eerie stories of the buildings that appear outside Edinburgh the stately homes happy to know some are still standing.
The stories of what happened at Brunstane Farm are hilarious, I find it especially difficult to believe that lot of crock because I grew there and I can 100% assure all that no pigs were slaughtered there as they were taken to the abattoir and were humanely delt with there. Some peoples imagination is outstanding and they need help!
Superb, very polished and professional - and that voice!!!
Very interesting and well made! 👻
Thank you very much!
Great video. Fascinating history, well researched and compellingly presented. Thanks! New subscriber.
Many thanks. We always have a blast when researching the ghosts of Portobello. Our Portobello Ghost Walk will be back in the spring...
Wait... You mean to tell me that after all these years, there's FINALLY a case where "the Butler did it"?
Lol, well played

This was so informative and very interesting. A lot of history about Portobello I never knew about. Thanks so much for sharing.
Glad that you liked it and many thanks for your kind words🙂👍
Facinating. I had no idea about Jane Anderson and the horror she went through.
A truly, tragic tale.
Love the storys mate, from the arcade to the farm. Very well put together. Good job
Nice one, we can go for a game of Ghosts n Goblins later in the month😄

I've interviewed the very man. I used to skive up the town and my school was miles away at Trinity. Skiving tends to take your fancy on the day..
Great voice and knowledge, well told . Cheers
Many thanks. Please tune in for the next one at the end of the month😀👍

There is actually no way on the Joppa story my new house in 31a Edinburgh road also In this
My house was in this like 7 times
I was a pupil or towerbank and lived at 16 figgate bank next door to the tower
Dr Dewar wasn’t so skilled after all! 🤔
❤❤❤❤❤
