True but everything is not Boeings fault the airlines are required to do maintenance and train their pilots to handle the aircraft Boeings CEO is not responsible for that.
60% of all commercial aircraft’s are Boeing planes. The 737 has over 10,000 plus deliveries and counting, and usually low cost airlines who skip the cost of training for pilots and maintenance often buy the 737 for its perks and performance. Most to almost all Boeing aircraft crashes are NOT Boeings fault. (The MAX is a different story but has been solved and cleared.) Don’t believe everything you see from the media or other commentators. So remember that most passenger planes you see flying today are Boeing planes. It depends on the airline, not the manufacturer.
Cars and trains. Yes, I do. I'm planning a trip to Alaska this summer and I live in Baja California, México and it will take me approximately 3 days to get there by SOLID GROUND. If you're fine being in an enclosed, flying capsule then more power to you. For me it's not that we die- it's HOW we die and it won't be by way of air for me. Goodbye and my sincere condolences to the families for their loss.

It’s a miracle that anyone survived this accident. There should NOT be a concrete wall at the beginning or end of any airport runway. It’s incredibly aggravating to know that so many people could have potentially survived this if it weren’t for that wall.
Plane hit a tall, brick-like solid earthen mound - not the airport's short and fragile perimeter cinder block wall. If the mound had not been there everyone would have survived.
Yeah. It happens. This one was just horrendous. As a pilot myself I can tell you they were just along for the ride the instant they knew they weren't rolling- because they had a long way to go and no way to abort the landing. It's sickening to contemplate the seconds that must have seemed like hours before that merciful impact. It takes the human brain 30 milliseconds to recognize what is happening. The comfort is they truely never felt a thing.
Bro Boeing's CEO has nothing to do with the maintenance the airline is required to do that, and the plane was in use for years before the incidents happened. Not everything is Boeings fault also, the incidents happened with the Boeing 737 max series not the Boeing 737-800.

Oh we don’t know what caused this???!!! WTF do you mean?? you need landing gear to land!!!! No landing gear……insta death. Have the airline reps not seen any footage. Perhaps this is just an issue in translation. But if a US based airline, lost a plane like this, and you can clearly see the landing gear not deployed. They’re not just gonna stand there and say oh we don’t know what happened??
I shared this under an Independent youtube video and they started calling me names, so i hope this gets a better response and i get to share whats actually happening in Korea with international TH-camrs. (I'll edit this later) what no one realizes is that the person who recorded this footage was sitting on top of a roof on a Sunday morning, anticipated the landing of this plane and recorded the entire landing from the beginning to end. This airport has rarely been used in the last few years and very very few planes land and take off. I hope someone knows about this before posting a response. They have had one or two take offs/ landing a week, so how did this person anticipate it and video recorded it?? someone sold a huge chunk of Jeju Air stocks the day or 2 days before the accident. he recorded it on the roof of a random restaurant that probably wasn't even open on a SUNDAY morning, and sent it to a TV station that PREDICTED this 'accident' two days ago. And while airing the news, they sent out a 'message', 817- 1987 August 17th, the same code used by North Koreans in the 80s. the man makes no noise during the recording of this crash. This waa a planned attack, not a mechanical failure. The number 817 indicates to something, no birds although there's bird habitat. This was not a bird strike. the person who recorded the landing is strange enough to record the entire thing from a perfect angle, the footage was then sent to a national TV network which aired a screen full of symbols and words durung live coverage for a brief second, one of them which said, 817. if you ask Chat GPT, 817 is a 'code' used by North Koreans in the 80s. but it's also the model number of a Chinese drone, CH-817.
Just to play devil's advocate on this... Some aviation enthusiasts listen to air traffic radio comms, and when they hear an ongoing emergency (e.g. mayday for birdstrike) they get their camera and try to film the landing, for which there's often time as the plane may be 20+ minutes out when the mayday is called. I have no clue if that's what happened in this case, but it's plausible. For the drone, that's certainly interesting. Perhaps there was a conspiracy involving a small drone intentionally downing a plane, and making it look like a bird strike. I doubt they have that kind of precision, but drones have really improved so maybe. Or it's possible you are just recognizing patterns that don't mean anything; we're all guilty of that from time to time. Looking forward to hearing how the investigation goes.

The plane landed too far down the runway, it would have never stopped had the landing gear been down.
The cause was the damn wall
From what it looks like the landing gear never engaged thus causing the plane with no way to break.
Oh no it broke

It was reinforced concrete.
No flaps were activated to slow down the plane?
The pilots got so feduddled owing to the bird strike that on the 2nd attempt at landing that they forgot to lower the landing gear!

0:36 plane did not hit a perimeter wall, it was an antena wall that should have NOT been there.
Those antennas are supposed to be frangible in the case of overshooting a runway so the fact the a wall is there is downright criminal.
