I liked the concept of this game, but can't stand the gameplay where you throw champs in and they mindlessly attack until someone is dead. That's why I like Raid's turn based style, there is actually strategy to it.

I think a key factor HH often forgets is days played of the takeover account compared to his f2p is irrelevant it’s not about the days it’s about the hours put in between those days player might just log on get the daily reward play for 10-15 minutes then log off or just get the daily and leave if that’s all they have time for whereas HH literally plays the game as his job which not everyone does so he could be at day 200 with 2000 hours on the f2p but the other player might only be at day 200 with 50 hours so comparison based on day number isn’t really a valid comparison

I also think the point Dr. Watson was trying to make is that "days played" is not a good gauge for progression because life happens and sometimes we are lucky to find time for dailies.
If u just log in and do the daily quests, its not serious attitude. Its not a hard thing to watch couple of videos to know what to do. I mean, nobody had full masteries😅 But yeah, i hope it helped him, at least a lot of ppl can learn from this video

For those that don't understand the importance of Speed Gear... please allow me to say this as simply as I can... The core game Mechanics are as a Turn-based RPG based upon Speed... That is why HH always says ASDD: 1. Accuracy to land Debuffs to enable your team and allow you to control the fight on your terms 2. Speed so you take lots of Turns to react to more decisions 3. Defense, because you can't do Damage if you're dead 4. Damage, focus on the 1st 3, then put as much as you can here thereafter
When we say 'good speed, good accuracy' it's so intuitive to those of us that have played or consumed content for so long. But we forget that every player which joins the game doesn't even get prompted that they can view mob stats pre-battle, so when they incrementally improve their champions' speeds they don't see a return on their investment for most of the 100 - 200 speed range. It's annoying but perhaps a reiterating the reasons behind stats might help newer players more. Namely: - spd > 208 ; to double lap mobs frequently at 104 spd like in dragon 24(?) - acc 60 greater than boss's res in dungeons, preferably double that in 5 man waves. Another important reminder is order of operation. One outlier is at least Hard DT, a lot of mobs in the later stages like Siphi have 240+ speed, while still showing ~100 pre-battle.

Lol, 24 minutes in and my biggest takeaway so far: The fitting room?! I have never even noticed that button! As someone who doesnt really equip most champions until they are at rank 6 (or lvl50 for some faction wars champs) I will probably get some use out of that one xD
Best takeover yet HH. I guess my impatience about gear is why I'm not far in dungeons. I'm not comfortable with changing a few builds because multiple champs do multiple jobs for me. I guess it's time to farm a ton of gear and see what I can get to improve. I'm pretty much in the same position as this account but I'm 2 or 3 weeks away from getting Scyl. I have the champs, just no patience lol I also try to build too many champs at once. Been trying to build Candy forever for arena but keep building FW champs like a dummy
i'm not even 2 full months in and D/IG 20 and FK 19 and I have 7 60s with crap legendaries (Samara Gem, Barakus and Hakkorn, no Geo, veno, royal guard, MEater etc) - just 8 years experience in Summoners War
I found this Video SUPER Interesting. I have a well developed Main Account(10.8mil) and I'm 96 days in on my F2P, which I inherited the Clan. It goes to show you don't have to have the best gear, just a team Synergy and the right sub stats. Although, the only reason you beat spider with that team at that level is because of Teumesia's HP Burn. Take out her HP burn and you would have lost. It also goes to show the right champ in sh!tty gear can still be a "force to be reckoned with". Mordecai, at any level, could have done the same damage as Teumesia in this Dungeon. Thanks so much for your videos, website, take overs, and tools. Keep up the GREAT work, the community appreciates it, I know I do!

Could you do a video showing maybe a Clan Boss run or a dungeon run where you have champs with max HP% boots, then swap for max Speed boots, and show how much higher your score is? How do you prove that going faster, but dying faster equals higher CB score / faster dungeon run? I'm late-early or early-mid game. Started at Christmas last year. My champs stay alive lone enough to 3-key nightmare and almost none have speed boots. All have HP% or if they are DEF champ, maybe DEF%. How do I see the investment into swapping for speed boots is worth it?
The clan boss does so much damage, the chances of you actually surviving his hits later on, no matter how much hp or def you have are slim. Hit more often and youll do more damage. And its not just about putting on speed boots. It's about the stats that all of your gear will get you too.
Regarding the Bloodline advert, did that game ever actually ad hybrids in as HH said as depicted in their adverts? I downloaded it but deleted it a while ago because of reviews saying the offspring was just based on 1 of the parents.
This account looks like a much more extreme version of mine, so I have some sympathy. Wish I had your luck with pulls tho! While there is a lot of resource out there, particularly from the HH Gaming team, this game has so much in it, that it can be difficult to find exactly the info you need. My main issue is not knowing what to focus on spending my energy on. I spent so long neglecting farming Dragon and Spider, mainly because the champs I had pulled and bad RNG, that I had a dearth of gear. I've tried to rectify over the last month, but it's still a slog getting decent pieces. Additionally, if you can't use a helper tool, this game takes so long to get through everything, so having the time and or focus to wade through a load of arena is tough for a family man with a FT job!
Thanks for the video. Another entertaining takeover. I can somewhat sympathize with Amir. It often feels I can never get the right gear to build out my champions. For example, I'm running my single Barbarian Accuracy banner with substats in attack and attack% on my own Scyl. Using flat defense Speed gloves on Lady Kimi because of double speed rolls (which really feels like a big fat fail), the best I have in the artifact set, and debating every day about whether to make her slower and give her better main stats. In fact, just changed her to HP gloves, -15 speed. Tomorrow might change her back :P On the other hand I'm also jealous of Amir. Teumesia, Geomancer, Coldheart, Iron Brago and more. Wow, just wow.
For arena if you're just using Kimi as a speed champ keep the gloves on. My Arb is at 328 speed thanks to a flat atk glove with a high triple into speed.
Was over 10 months of hard play to get an Apothecary.. even Coldheart, Tayrel, Geomancer, Vergis and Sepulchre didn't drop until over a year in.. Only recently got Toragi and Spider., and never seen Venomage and other good ones.. even as it's 2 nights til Guurda.. for champs, this looks better than mine at that time
This is making me look forward to Scyl. Already seen what a terror UDK+Scyl is in arena but getting her should push me from 20-25 in most of my dungeons. 40 more days to go
My friend yesterday decide to pull his shards despite me saying to wait for 2x. He has been playing the game for almost two weeks. He had 16 ancients and 3 voids... He got teodor and krisk. Soon after I disinstalled the game.
hey HH, really loving your content! i also started to use the optimizer and i have a question: somehow when i am looking at my champions i cant find my starterchampion kael in the roster, yet when i look at my team compositions he is there. am i doing something wrong? i checked the filters but it shouldnt be because of that
Had this happen to me and it was because they were a Faction Guardian. If this is the same for your Kael all you have to do is click the switch in the bottom left that says "Include Champions in Faction Guardians" and you'll see him back.
I use the HH artifact optimizer and I'm pretty sure what you recommended with the low rarity speed boots is not reflected there. I'm sure they do get a boost in their estimate over similar boots that aren't speed, but the idea that even common speed boots are better than epic or legendary boots that aren't speed does not play out when using the optimizer. Builds are currently part of my problem keeping me from an unkillable ult. clan boss and knowing this now will help.
UNM CB and NM clan boss have only dropped me 2-3 gold books in like a month. I don't know how you guys get all the books. I get gear with no books and no shards daily with the higher CBs. It's extremely frustrating.
I like hearing the attack neck called out all the time; when I started the game I didn't really know guides or CCs existed and I thought "attack" meant "offense", "defense" meant like armor, and "hp" meant, well, hit points or life pool. When the ability would say based on attack, I thought "yeah, the characters offense should play a role in damage duh" not knowing the difference.
I'm 11 days in. Got Michi and Teodor as my legendaries. Only got 5 epics so far. 1 was free. Visionary, Skullcrusher, Fylja, Thylessia and the free one Shaman
Oh gosh... all f2p here, I don't have udk or Rhonda but I do have the monkey. All my peeps have speed boots, and I'll work on getting the perception gear in. I'm just on normal for clan boss with the biggest chest, but I'm having fun.
depends on the progression level of your account. at a certain point you stop keeping: uncommon items flat primary stat gloves/chest/boots 4star items rare items without speed items with flat stats etc
i regret my life decisions!!! i accidentally deleted all my speed boots!!!! was clearing out all the flat stat hp, def and atk gloves, chest and boots. accidentally checked speed aswell hit sell all and got a juicy 5mil credits.. thought dayum must of had some bad luck farming dragon... then realised speed was checked as primary stats and nearly started crying! hahah rip i will get them back eventually just a pain for building new champs now.
This makes me feel good I’m not even 50 day into play raid for the first time and don’t even have a lot of epic s on have sun Wukong and I’ve completed dragon 19 ice golem 13 spider14 and fire knight13 I’m FTP only have 5 60s 1 key void hard clan boss and 2-3 key brutal boss
I could really go for a good takeover as well, been trying to build my champs since coming back to raid earlier this summer, but it's been hard for me to make my units faster with SPD , best i can do is 200+ while all the hardcore pvp players have theirs at 300+, and upgrading speed sub stat gear is tough to get to triple or quadruple. I need help on focus with arena, clan boss, and hydra. How can i win a takeover by you?

I just learned a lot about speed thresholds and stats from this video. Going through and cleaning up my characters now!
He was probably using that attack ring on Scyl for Scarab, but he can always swap it back and forth when he needs her in DT.

I like hearing the attack neck called out all the time; when I started the game I didn't really know guides or CCs existed and I thought "attack" meant "offense", "defense" meant like armor, and "hp" meant, well, hit points or life pool. When the ability would say based on attack, I thought "yeah, the characters offense should play a role in damage duh" not knowing the difference.

Oh gosh... all f2p here, I don't have udk or Rhonda but I do have the monkey. All my peeps have speed boots, and I'll work on getting the perception gear in.

at a certain point you stop keeping:
uncommon items
flat primary stat gloves/chest/boots
4star items
rare items without speed
items with flat stats
etc

i regret my life decisions!!! i accidentally deleted all my speed boots!!!! was clearing out all the flat stat hp, def and atk gloves, chest and boots. accidentally checked speed aswell hit sell all and got a juicy 5mil credits.. thought dayum must of had some bad luck farming dragon... then realised speed was checked as primary stats and nearly started crying! hahah rip i will get them back eventually just a pain for building new champs now.

Can't use the Optimizer unless you buy a computer/laptop. Nothing like carrying around a desktop or a 7+ pound laptop for mobility

I could really go for a good takeover as well, been trying to build my champs since coming back to raid earlier this summer, but it's been hard for me to make my units faster with SPD , best i can do is 200+ while all the hardcore pvp players have theirs at 300+, and upgrading speed sub stat gear is tough to get to triple or quadruple. I need help on focus with arena, clan boss, and hydra. How can i win a takeover by you?
You could pay on the website for somebody in the HH Gaming team to do it. And HH jumping on won't give you triples in speed all of a sudden,
