  • We are in Pacifica, CA, only 15 minutes south of San Francisco known for its serene landscapes and best surfing beaches in the Bay Area. We are spending a full day here starting with a surfing lesson, a trip to the Pacifica pier, a visit back in time to historic sights, and we top off the night with the fun wine bars and seafood restaurants.

What a wonderful video! I learned so much and can't wait to visit the places you highlight. Your photography is captivating! That food looks so delicious, the cioppino, that cobbler, and the mulled wine! Want to do the two step at Nick's too and see the dogs surfing! Run the Atlas, you did another great job enlightening everyone on all the fun things to do and stay in this area close to San Francisco❤😁☺

Iˋm going to SF in August for 3 Days. Would you recommend to stay in SF City or in Pacifica? I thought to stay in Pacifica because its much more calmer and the car break ins are maybe a little bit less that in the city. (We have a rental car then)

Yes Pacifica - you can easily get to the city and it’s much more calm and peaceful, feels like a vacation vibe. City can be pricy as well.

@@stocktonca6586 Did you drove with the car to SF City or with the public transport? Or what would you recommend? I want to see all the famous tourist places in these 2-3 Days in SF City. But should I drive then from Pacifica with the car to SF city and park there in a parking garage or should I go by train

@tkinthehouse2828 I stayed in Pacifica at the Lighthouse Hotel Friday and Saturday got to explore most of the area which is so beautiful and relaxing. On Sunday morning when checking out the hotel I drove to San Francisco and spent the whole day their enjoying the pier and then drove to the Marin Headlands right next to the Golden Gate Bridge. I checked out Battery Spencer then did some hiking down to Black Sand beach

@tkinthehouse2828 Where are you driving from? If you want to check out a bunch of tourist attractions you're going to need more than one day. I would suggest you get a hotel in SF then get a hotel in Pacifica if money isn't the issue. There's a bunch of good and fairly affordable hotels in SF where your car will be safe and secure. In Pacifica there is no problems with break ins at all around the hotel areas it's very safe compared to SF
