I know nothing about WWE or mainstream wrestling (other than its BS at times), but I find myself having a chuckle rewatching it.

But it was Sakura, so none of that counts.
Not trying to derail your points, because those ARE good things. But Sakura was useless for 95% of the fifteen years before those moments. Aside from cutting her hair in the Chunin Exam and fighting Sasori alongside his grandma, she did next to nothing useful.

Remember how Sasuke found a convenient chance to ditch Orochimaru via assassination, due to him having been wiped out by his encounter with Naruto, and the whole game proceeded onward from there? Let's not forget why said encounter even happened in the first place.
Sakura was out of focus for much of the story, but still managed to contribute subtle influences like that on the grand scheme of things.
actually naruto still basically died but the sage saved him...sakura did not do much to help obito besides heal and she forgot to stab him which caused everyone to get trapped in the dream world...her punch on kaguya was due to her being held up by naruto and sasuke..but whatever....i am not saying shes useless but shes also not this good character...shes very much used like a minor character joke that just happens to be a main character because they want to trick girls into buying merch and the manga...if the team was all boys it loses 20% of fans i bet..love triangles always sell...after all..thats her role sadly...
I never noticed before how many of Konohamaru's lines are just lines from Ralph Wiggems from The Simpsons. And it's great how ell that works.
It’s sad Little Kuriboh quit doing the series at episode 11, Ninjabridge is even more hilarious than the original Abridged Naruto, that’s my opinion though
He didn't quit, someone actually asked if they could take over now that he stopped; he said absolutely not and that he will definitely get back to it but wants to finish ygotas first as it's already gone on for so long, like this sentence. He also said he holds himself to a higher standard with ygotas, his main work, but ninjabridge is the series where he can do whatever the hell he wants and so he enjoys working on it a lot.

To add a little to the explanation behind the 'Meet the Spartans' joke (Which, by the way, was also referenced in Code MENT by Jeremiah no less), you'll notice a running gag with Iruka in that he has really terrible taste in entertainment. Part of the joke is that Meet the Spartans along with every film directed by the people behind it is terrible and misses the point of how a spoof is supposed to work. There's a joke later on about which version of One Piece Iruka enjoys that further cements this fact.

I just had a sad thought about that. Imagine if there was a person who once fell so deep into hatred that he fully intended to wipe out your home village and kill everyone in it. Then imagine how uncomfortable you'd be if someone like that were anywhere near your wife and daughter, even if he'd reformed into a sane human being. Finally, imagine that you ARE that person.
Every ninja in Naruto is crazy in their own way. That's hers.
I think the Hanata thing was because it was made when the Pain Arc was going on in the manga and it looked like she was going to die
Yeah it was a timely joke cause she confessed when this was made and then got stabbed but I think the manga was a little past that arc by the time this came out but kuriboh probably was only up to date on the anime so it made sense
Sexy Jutsu works on everyone except sasuke, cuz all he feels is emo. Which is why he's naruto's ultimate rival, he's the only one who doesn't succomb to the ultimate technique.
Hey Airier, since you don't seem to know, I wanted to give you a bit of a heads up about this series.
Ninjabridge is a parody series of another parody series. The original series was done by Masako X and Lanipator (I think) before they started the DBZ Abridged series. Back when this was started, there was a large abridging community (before anime companies started nuking abridging series from orbit) and Naruto The Abridged series was notorious for being kinda awful, while being the first try of what would eventually be one of the best abridged series ever.
LK's Ninjabridge takes all the stuff that happened in the first series, and makes fun of it in a very loving way. A lot of the jokes come from the quirks of the original series, or the things that were happening at the time in the real series. For example, the fact that Naruto hates Sakura for no reason comes from Masako X making all the characters in Naruto Abridged hate her automatically because her future uselessness in the series. Iruka liking One Piece came from constant One Piece references in Naruto Abridged, the "aspect ratio" being a joke that Masako couldn't find clean versions of the episodes and would have to hide the subtitles, and Hinata making a comment about her having a long life in which to express her feelings comes form the episode being made around the time Pain stabbed her and everyone thought she was dead.
There are a ton of meta jokes as well, and at one point the series becomes a bit of a love letter to the abridged community. In some side material, Iruka and the Third Hokage have bits with one another, with Iruka being a stand in for abridged series fans, and the Hokage representing abridgers. Also, side content with Susuke, Naruto, and Sakura talking about Abridger awards, the "dangerous box" (which is a reference of the comment box that existed at the time), and Clucky the Chicken, which I think was either Masako or Lanipator's pet chicken that was brought up a lot in Naruto Abridged. In a sense, to get the most out of Ninjabridge, you'd have to know a lot met stuff about abridging, but it can still be enjoyed without all this extra lore. Just know that if you don't get a joke, there is a reason you don't get the joke, and it doesn't really matter that much if something flies over your head.
Good summary except it wasn't Lanipator, but Vegeta3986 woeking with Masako on the show.

Masako x and a former friend did Naruto abridged which was one of the original abridged series that was after little kuriboh ygo abridged but around the time of lanipator yu yu hakusho abridged and others that would form together to make team four star.
I'm pretty sure I've heard about this before, I've never actually seen them.

@@Airier Funny story, Lani's Yu Yu Hakusho Abridged was the first abridged series I found because I wanted to rewatch Yu Yu Hakusho but was hoping there was a way to get through the episodes faster so I was going by the classical definition of abridged.
However I loved the concept so much that I looked for abridged versions of other shows and here we are.
Lani did all the voices and at first I was confused at what I was watching because his Yusuke and Kuwabara sounded exactly like the characters in the dub. Then I realized it was a parody and looked into it further.
A cool call back is when TFS did Cell vs Yusuke Lani reprised the roles of Yusuke and Kuwabara
Yeah, Vegeta-stringofnumbers who also went on TFS but left fairly early on.

How about the fact he never picked up on how weird it is that ninjas can not only transform into someone but sound like them and even be able to change the material of clothing on them to look like someone else somehow without explanation....this shit is straight up magic...chakra ninshu doesn't explain that ability to play god basically...
All the previous Hokage were pretty powerful, regardless of the discrimination of the Uchihas. There's a reason they were Hokage after all. And I will *never* understand why people hate filler so much. I've watched through the entire Naruto series without skipping any of it and enjoyed it all, except for one episode in Shippuden about some ninja ostrich
I mean it was really only the second that had the discrimination and his discrimination created the huge divided carried on by that guy who had all the eyes. I don't think the 3rd or 4th was very discriminating, it was just by that point the situation was set.
I do remember that alternate like future ep where if Itachi didn't have to kill the Uchihas. Was interesting take.

I hadn't considered this before, but I think he might have assumed Hinata was being foreshadowed to die early on. LK hadn't seen Naruto when he started making these and likely still hasn't seen most of it, this started out as a parody of Masako's abridged with LK watching the relevant episodes along as he made these. Either that or the other abridged arrived to that conclusion, I haven't seen that one.
Actually, I'm pretty sure what happened was that he made this episode during the Pain arc when everyone was screaming about Hinata being killed. I don't even remember if she actually died like some other people did, but regardless, LK hadn't seen the show like you're saying, so he probably wouldn't fully understand what he was hearing lol

@@hakairyu1 she was suppose to die ala kakashi then get revived like 9 chapters later but the fans were so pissed kishi never kills her even though it looked like she dies in that chapter...in the anime they even show her alive right away next episode not even 10 minutes in so
@@sterlingmuse5808 he was going by what masako and vegeta said in their series cause when they wrote that joke it was 2009 when the manga had her stabbed in the pain arc but by 2010 while the anime got to that point she was well and fine in the manga as it moved on to the next arc so fans knew she was ok but lk was not up to date or a fan so he had no clue all he knew was masako saw hinata as a waifu so he threw in that reference without research thinking she was dead...

@@Airier He is primarily an artist but has done a few review style videos that kinda made a big(ish) splash. Ironically some of his most popular videos are his videos despite them not being his main focus lol. Looks like his gripes about dragon ball and Naruto resonated with a LOT of folks 😂

Part 2 sakura turned badass during the ninja war arc, but I can’t defend her in part 1. She WAS useless. Kagome from Inuyasha was more useful, and she got kidnapped, A LOT.😗

@@dekuavatar8777 See the problem is every time Kishimoto decided to make Sakura actually do something to respond to all the criticism, it really feels like he just has her do something for a bit so that he can go back to not writing about her doing anything again, which is what he really wants to do. We've had what, 6 different occasions where Sakura "grew into her own as a member of Team 7 in her own right" because she immediately reverts to being a side character again. Especially in the war arc in Shippuden where she comments about fighting alongside Naruto and Sasuke and then *immediately* needs to be rescued by Sasuke. Look, I'm not the kind of person that sees sexism everywhere or whatever but it's like Kishimoto has a mental block where he can't write a female character as the equal of her peers without adding some reason why they're not. Tsunade starts out with haemophobia, the one member of the Akatsuki that is fought by two women decides to give up and die instead of just losing...
Apparently being able to fight alongside someone means never ever needing any help from them for all time. Guess Naruto and Sasuke can't actually fight alongside others either.

The third is mostly responsible 4 why they treated Naruto like garbage throughout the entire series
I don't wanna get into a big debate about this, but if it would've taken the Third Hokage declaring that Naruto is the son of the deceased Fourth Hokage to make the villagers not treat Naruto (AKA an orphaned child) like crap during his,l early years, maybe the fault lies more with the villagers. It's one of the reasons why I could never bring myself to care about literally anyone in the village except for the better ninja characters. Because that alone made them all a-holes in my eyes, and the fact that he had to literally become a hero for them to stop treating him like garbage makes them garbage.

Funny thing is, well I've heard of this one before watch it, I have no idea what the other Naruto Abridged is.
@@Airier The first Naruto Abridged was made by MasakoX and Vegeta3986. They liked the concept after seeing Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged and they thought they could make a decent Naruto Abridged.
Eventually LK decided he would like to take a stab at it and did a parody of their show which is what you are watching now.
He had never watched Naruto so he just went off of their episodes, making references to stuff in their parody and I believe watching the actual episodes that Naruto Abridged was parodying.
Eventually Masako and Vegeta decided they wanted to take a stab at abridging the first movie but instead of doing that they just kept abridging episodes since it was easier and eventually they just went into hiatus forever. After that Masako joined TFS (or maybe he did join while they were doing it I cannot remember which) and Vegeta faded away into obscurity.
After doing 9 episodes and the movie LK decided to focus mainly on YGOTAS since he had actually seen the show and it was his main project so Ninjabridge has been on hiatus since then but he might come back to it after YGOTAS is finished.
One can only hope :)

They both joined TFS, Vegeta3986 voiced Raditz. Did leave pretty early on though.
